✨ A little update from The Beauty Bar ✨

After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision to introduce a small increase to my treatment prices. 🤍

I haven’t increased my prices in years, and this isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. However, now that I’m running my own shop, with additional overheads and the rising costs of running a business, I’ve had to review my pricing to ensure I can continue providing the high-quality treatments, products and experience that you all deserve.

You may notice that nail extensions have a slightly higher price increase than other treatments. This is simply because extensions take significantly longer to complete, require additional products and involve more time and work to achieve the finished result.

Every appointment includes my time, experience, attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the health of your natural nails. I want to continue giving every client the care and quality they deserve, without compromising on any part of the service.

Ive put alot of hours in over the past 8 years, with continuous training and lots of money on very good quality products, to give the best to all my clients old and new, and with the upcoming winter and over heads increasing in price, just this summer my electric has cost me double what I did last year, so this decision hasnt come lightly but it is one ive been putting off for a while now😅

I’m incredibly grateful to every single one of you who continues to support me and my little business. Whether you’ve been with me for years or have only recently started coming to me, your support means more than you know! 🫶🏼

Thank you for understanding and allowing me to continue doing what I love.

✨ ACRYLIC NAILS & NAIL HEALTH ✨

Choosing acrylic over gel does NOT mean you're compromising your natural nail health! 🤍

Acrylic and gel are both fantastic products when applied and maintained correctly, but acrylic can actually be the more suitable option for some clients!

Here's why:

🤍 Strength & durability – Acrylic provides a strong, durable enhancement, making it ideal for clients who are harder on their hands.

🤍 Added structure – Acrylic can provide additional support for nails that are prone to breaking, when applied correctly.

🤍 Longer extensions – Its strength and rigidity make it a great choice for clients who love longer nails.

🤍 Individual nail needs – Some clients simply find acrylic more suitable for their natural nail type and lifestyle than gel.

Nail health isn't determined by whether you choose acrylic or gel. It's determined by correct application, proper maintenance, safe removal and choosing the right product for YOUR nails! 💅🏼

As a nail technician, my priority will always be the health of your natural nails, regardless of which enhancement system we choose.

Healthy nails and beautiful enhancements CAN go hand in hand! 🤍

So lets get over this "I want gel nails because Its better for my nails" trend, and let me provide you with a prescriptive Manicure, meaning I decide based on what I think is going to work better, based on clients natural nails, and lifestyle - because prioratising nail health is my top priority ✨️

The design will probably be very minimal or chosen by the student for areas she wishes to practice.

This is for a student of mine, doing a master class, so not a complete beginner, the nails will be able to be kept on afterwards!
