I believe you’ve came across this message today because it’s time, this isn’t about forgiving them, it’s time to forgive you 💔❤️

The story was never about them, that’s why they was only given a chapter.
But what happens when that chapter comes to an end, and you carry on your story without them

This is the part I struggled with most.

Because although they no longer played a part in my life,
although I done YEARS worth of deep inner work in letting them go,
in forgiving them for what they put me through, and alchemising all of my pain into a beautiful path of love and compassion,

My heart still felt heavy.
I still didn’t feel free.
And my inner child still didn’t trust me.

No matter how much ‘inner child’ work I done

And this is what I fu***ng LOVE about the work, you can’t fake it! 💯

It wasn’t about forgiving them
The real work was in forgiving me

This is a whole new level of heart ache 💔

It’s in the remembering, the returning, the going back to those versions of yourself

The you who stayed, when your heart told you to leave.
The you who begged for love, but settled for their breadcrumbs.
You lied to yourself, over and over again.
Put their needs before your own,
You seeked out their connection, whilst abandoning your own

And whilst you made them the main character In Your story, your inner child yearned even deeper for your love

Going back to those versions of yourself means feeling it all

The overwhelming feeling of shame that’s buried in your womb.
The deep rooted pain they caused you that holds a grip around your heart.
The guilt, the regret, the embarrassment , the lies, the low self worth and non existent self love.

ALL OF IT.

It’s staying.
When all you want to do is run.
It’s sitting in it.

Taking accountability.
Claiming your responsibility.
And TAKING BACK YOUR FU***NG POWER 🙏🏼

As you declare, you’ll never be those versions of you ever again.
So thankyou for the pain, thankyou for the medicine, I’m grateful for all of the lessons,
And it’s in that very moment, you set yourself free 🦋

This is what they call ‘UNCONDITIONAL LOVE’ - reclaiming and falling madly in love with ALL versions of you

Now your healing really begins 🕊️

Fail.
Go left when you should go right.
Choose a path having no idea where it leads.
Follow your joy!!!!!
Have fun.
Play.
Be you!!!
