🎁❤️ WE’RE HOSTING A TOY DRIVE FOR WARD 3B AT ALDER HEY! ❤️🎁

We are incredibly proud to be supporting a local family with a very special collection for the children of Ward 3B, the Oncology Ward at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Six-year-old Maddie has been battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma since October and has spent huge amounts of that time on Ward 3B, sometimes for weeks at a time.

For children like Maddie, hospital can become their whole world. Days and weeks are spent away from home, school, friends and siblings, often in isolation while undergoing gruelling treatment.

That’s why the little things can mean so much. ❤️

A new toy to open.
A LEGO set to build during a long day.
Crafts to concentrate on during treatment.
A game to play with Mum or Dad.
A special gift to celebrate reaching a milestone or finally ringing that all-important bell. 🔔

So we’re asking our wonderful customers and local community to help us Donate a Moment to these incredible children.

We’re collecting brand-new, unused:

🧸 Toys for all ages
🧱 LEGO and building sets
🎨 Arts, crafts and activity kits
📚 Books and colouring books
🧩 Games and puzzles
🖍️ Colouring pens, pencils and stationery
🎁 Gifts suitable for older children and teenagers

Simply drop your donation into the salon and we’ll take care of the rest.

All donations will be collected by Maddie’s aunt, who is working directly with Ward 3B to find out what the children need most, and she will deliver everything to the ward.

It doesn’t have to be something huge. Even picking up one extra colouring book, craft set or little toy while you’re shopping could brighten an incredibly difficult day for a child. ✨
