Dear customers

We would like to correctly inform you the information that you might have seen on social media or news recently, regarding the ban of TPO in gel polish / gel system.

TPO ( Trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide ) is a photo initiator that helps curing the gel.

This ingredient is banned from EU in manufactured retails and consume from 1/9/2025

For UK, the ban will be in force from 1/9/2026.

TPO ban is not global, only limited to European Economic Area ( EEA)

The claim of this ban because the TPO has been classed as a CMR 1B substance, which it describes as a 'reproductive toxicant'.

The ban on TPO for use in Gel nails did not arise from reports or incidents in the nail industry nor from clinical cases in nail salons.

TPO remains permitted in EU for other industries such as :

-Printing inks
-Industrial coating & adhesive
-Electronics / PCB production
-3D printing resins
-Dental materials ( medical devices )

Our priority to our customers is Safe in services and products we provide, so we would like to all our customers aware about this information correctly.
