When we lose weight quickly, we don’t just lose fat around the waist. We also lose important facial fat pads that support volume, softness, and youthful contours. This can lead to a more hollow, gaunt or tired appearance, often called “Ozempic face.”

Scientifically, facial ageing after rapid weight loss is linked to:
• Loss of deep and superficial facial fat pads
