This is where every pot of Radiance Facial Polish begins.

I mix every batch by hand, adding beautiful Rosehip Oil, gentle Walnut Shell and a little bit of Dorset love (yes, that's an official ingredient... in my book anyway 😉).

It's creamy, smells gorgeous, feels luxurious and leaves your skin looking like you've had eight hours' sleep... even if you've only managed six.

Nature can be rather clever sometimes.

A Quiet Dorset Moment🍃🐿️

Everything stood still, and this cheeky Red and I had what I can only describe as 'a moment'.

Hidden in the ancient trees of Brownsea Island, this little red squirrel paused just long enough to peek from its woodland home, ears pricked and eyes full of curiosity.

Brownsea remains one of the UK's most important refuges for native red squirrels, offering a rare chance to see these beautiful animals thriving in their natural habitat. Encounters like this are never guaranteed, which makes them all the more special.

Sometimes the greatest rewards come not from searching harder, but from standing quietly and letting nature come to you. That my friends, is some deep deep calm....

JULY IS DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH

This isn’t a sympathy post. It’s a pride post.

I live with pain every hour of every day. Some days are harder than others, but disability has never defined what I’m capable of. It has simply meant finding different ways to reach the same goals.

I’m incredibly proud of the life and business David and I have built together, along with our family. It hasn’t happened because I “overcame” disability—it has happened because we’ve learned to adapt, to keep going, and to lean on each other.

So this Disability Pride Month, I’m celebrating resilience, partnership and perseverance.

I’m proud of adapting instead of giving up.

I’m proud of accepting help without seeing it as weakness.

I’m proud of what we’ve created together.

And I’m proud that disability is part of my story, but it will never be the whole story.

🌿 Inside the Bottle

Geranium

When people think of geraniums, they often picture colourful summer gardens.

I think of one of my favourite skincare ingredients.

Geranium essential oil has been treasured for generations for its beautifully balancing properties. It's especially loved in skincare for helping dry or mature skin feel nourished, while its naturally floral aroma brings a wonderful sense of calm and wellbeing.

When I created our Restorative Body Oil, I wanted every ingredient to have a purpose.

Geranium was an easy choice.

Not because it's fashionable, but because it brings together beautiful fragrance and gentle skin care in one elegant ingredient.

It's one of those quiet little heroes that works away in the background, helping to turn an everyday routine into a small moment of self-care.

Nature really does know best.

One of my favourite days in the workshop is making our Restorative Body Oil.

It begins quietly. Measuring each oil carefully, warming them gently and taking my time over every bottle.

I always think handmade skincare should feel just that... handmade.

Nothing rushed.

Nothing mass-produced.

Just beautiful ingredients coming together to create something that helps people take a few moments for themselves.

Today I'm making a fresh batch, ready for the shelves.
