Brown, But Better

I'm so glad I recorded these as a batch because I'm still kind of ill 😅 bit here's some realisations from my mental health struggles!

This one follows on from the previous ones, and talks about the moment I "signed off" (handed in my notice) in the Army.

When I say I'm just starting, you better believe me.

Red pill Bros watch out, misogynists watch out, "Alpha Bros" watch out because your way sucks and we ain't buying your bu****it anymore.

If I could say one thing about integrity, it's sticking to your word. Because when you stop doing that, your brain, your body, and other people the realise that your word is worthless.

It's a shame that we have less people of integrity these days. You can see it from the top to the bottom. Prime ministers and Presidents, to friends and family members.

Be a Brown, But Better man, stick to your word, and have integrity.

THIS IS WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO CHECK THE VALUES OF THE PEOPLE YOU FOLLOW ONLINE.

This is the guy you guys think has a point when he talks about women?
You might as well say Trump has a point too🤦🏽‍♂️

This one I've heard from a few different people, and guys, if someone says to you that your wife/girlfriend has changed you - recognise that they're saying that because you've levelled up to a point they don't like.
They're happy with the old you, the one that drank, was unhealthy, used to make inappropriate jokes because it kept them confrotable about who they are.
It's a them issue, not a you issue.

And don't forget to back your partner too.

Personally, I do think a lot of guys are lost in terms of who they are because of how the world has changed around gender typical roles.

Often aiming for perfection can lead to stagnation and fear of action. Have compassion for yourself, know that you're going to mess up, and do the thing anyway!

Or if it's around relationships, then again, just understand that no one is perfect but you can be better than most by showing up as your best self as often as you can. Sometimes that means you show up like that a lot, and sometimes it means you don't show up as your best self as often as you'd like. And that is all okay.

This past week I've been called weak by a lot of random guys.
Realistically, anyone who's a proper man knows that we don't call other men weak because we have no idea what kind of difficulties, hardships, or challenges they've faced or continue to face.
It's easy to live a comfortable life and call other men weak, it's harder to guide them and show them the path to true strength - the kind of strength that protects those around them.
