Being a hairdresser, we often don’t get the luxury side of the salon. It’s usually a quick cut at the end of the day and leaving with wet hair, or having your colour put on, driving home with it on, trying to avoid getting on your car seat head rests and washing it off when you get in (And praying you don’t get stuck in traffic)
Jordan was able to give Lauren a well overdue hair cut, bringing back the bob. We had no energy left to talk throughout 😂

25 years ago today, Silcress was born… and what a journey it’s been!
Originally owned by our lovely Senior Director Julie, Silcress has grown, evolved and welcomed so many wonderful clients, team members and memories over the years.
In 2016, Lauren, Gemma and Jordan took the reins and began the next chapter of the Silcress story — building on everything that came before while putting their own stamp on the salon we know and love today.
25 years of hair, friendships, laughter, celebrations, colour, and creativity!
To every client who has sat in one of our chairs, every member of the team who has been part of our journey, and everyone who has supported Silcress along the way…
