OBE Client Work and review.

Last week I was asked to put Jane’s hair up for her Investiture at Windsor Castle.
She was receiving it for her work on the environment and supporting projects all over the world in fighting air pollution.
Congratulations to Jane for very special award which I’m sure she will cherish!

Good morning all,

Just sharing some information for new clients 🤍

Many of my clients know I have been hairdressing for over 30 years and have a wonderful clientele. I trained in London, I was an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon in Sloane St and completed my training there. I’m also showing some of my Apprenticeship certificate which is decades old but very precious to me as I know how hard I worked to gain this special qualification to work in their London salons, and later in their artistic team. 😅

I thought it would be nice to show my studio room that I work from in Windsor. A simply decorated room with calming colours and pictures of the models and Wedding couples I have worked with.
I use a variety of high quality hair products and they are all for different hair types and finishes.
Natural Curl, smoothing hair into subtle wave, straight hair. Any finishes can be achieved.
I use Japanese scissors called Wings, high quality and super blades for cutting.

A little collaboration of work with a very talented friend who has worked and had his photography work featured in VOGUE Magazine.
A skillful surgeon in the day, but has a naturally great eye for photography, took these photographs in Windsor Greatpark as I wanted some photography to feature the beautiful Windsor.
We wanted to capture the right light and create a natural flowy look which is soft and evokes calmness and feels upstaged.
A beautiful preowned gifted silk white dress is used to add a stainable concept and to enhance the feature of the appreciation of design and well made clothes.

Good Afternoon,

A little hair up work by myself for Royal Ascot, which was done at Fairmont Windsor Park on a repeat client. I really enjoy doing hair up and styling as well as classic cutting.
As you can see on the side bun I did for the lady, I have kept the elastic discretely under the hair to keep her hat on but keep it secure.
It was photographed by the ladies husband as they left for their day out at the races in the Royal enclosure! How lovely that would be! 😊

I think she looks very elegant!🥂

It was a such a joy to spend a morning with this lovely lady, who married her very kind husband Tom, who first called to book her Wedding hair with me. What a thoughtful gent he is! ✨

Susana had asked for a braid, we discussed and chose this idea. A fishtail braid it works so well with the floaty modern silhouette of the silk dress which had a flowing silk cape. Offset by bright flowers and bridesmaid dresses to add contrast.

The venue had amazing coloured windows in the chapel area and has so much beautiful architectural detail.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanting to show and share some interesting and wonderful news about one of my young lady clients who had a haircut today.
A fabulous achievement, Meg, a young lady who has worked so very hard and has now graduated from the University of Birmingham in July after studying medicine for 6 years and has now started working as a junior doctor at a hospital in Surrey. Very inspirational!
