Stepping into the festive season with one of my forever favourites, . From the Eye Tint in shade 36 M (the quickest one-swipe wonder!) to my trusted long term hero Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 5, the glow from the Cheek Tint Shine and Luminous Silk Acqua Highlighter in shade 3 with the perfect dewy glow. Finished with the ultra-comfortable Vertigo Lift Mascara, Prisma Icy Plumper in shade 36, and spritz of Si eau de parfum all over. My skin has never looked more radiant ✨ ”
Today’s press appointment with turned into an unexpected, but very needed haircut with the amazing . Even though I’m always caring for my hair with oiling, masks, serums and all the rest, actually taking the time to sit, breathe and be looked after felt incredibly special.
As we reach the end of the year, it reminded me how a haircut can feel like a reset: a quiet moment of letting go, refreshing your energy and stepping back into yourself. Thank you to the team for the beautiful wash, treatment and trim, and for introducing me to some lovely newness I can’t wait to try.
AD It’s been such a busy festive season and so I turned to the Excellence Nudes range for my root touch up and it’s been a game-changer👌🏼
It’s so easy to use at home, with so many shades that work beautifully for South Asian tones, and the best part is that it’s ammonia-free, so it feels gentle while still giving that rich, luminous colour.
I used the shade 4U Universal Brown, and the results honestly speak for themselves. Soft, shiny, glossy and natural-looking colour that’s perfect.
It’s been wonderful to see how much has evolved in the past few years, not just in representation, but in truly engaging with the South Asian community. Their commitment to inclusivity and diversity feels authentic and ongoing, and I feel so proud that they have been part of the journey since it started.
From spotlighting incredible global ambassadors like Ashley, to celebrating Diwali with genuine intention, L’Oréal Paris continues to create space for South Asian voices. It’s been lovely to be part of that experience.
For this look, I have used some of my favourites including Skin Ink (so versatile), Panorama Mascara, Color Riche Lipstick in Worth It Intense, Lumi Liquid Blush in Glowy True Rose, Lumi Le Glow Highlighter Stick in Glowy Creme Chic, Le Shadow Stick in Magnetic Bronze, Magic Retouch in Dark Brown, and Elnett hairspray.
Wishing you a very happy Diwali from me, the South Asian Beauty Collective, and L’Oréal Paris 🪔

As a qualified Marketeer, my work has always sat at the intersection of cultural insight, strategic storytelling and bold ex*****on.
During my Marketing years at , I led two of the most ambitious brand activations in Mumbai; not just executing, but originating and pitching ideas that placed South Asian stories at the forefront.
The first: bringing the Capital Radio breakfast team to India for a live outside broadcast at the iconic (circa 2005/6), a bold media-first for its time. The second: curating Silent Picturehouse, a cinematic celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema, reimagining inflight entertainment on the ground at , with a red-carpet finale that brought together Bollywood icons including , , and .
These weren’t just high-profile moments, they were purpose-driven projects rooted in cultural relevance, connection and a belief that global brands could and should reflect the communities they serve.
Today, that same belief underpins everything I do with , a platform that exists to celebrate, amplify and honour South Asian identity across beauty and wellness.
It’s a full-circle journey and the mission continues…..

“Om Swastiastu” - “may you be blessed and safe” (a Hindu-Balinese salutation) 🙏
Bali, thank you for reminding me that self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. From sunrise adventures and cultural wanderings, to food that felt like a warm hug and the beautiful South Asian influences throughout the island… this trip was one big, happy exhale.
Family time, catch-ups with friends (both local from home), beauty rituals, healing massages and plenty of space to just be. From swinging over the jungle canopy to swinging back to myself, I’m coming home softer and fuller and so grateful 🧿✨🌺

This weekend’s inside the features an Ageless Beauty story that means more than words can say.
To see a South Asian woman centred in a national beauty feature, discussing skin tone, greys, pigmentation and inherited rituals such as hair oiling is a powerful thing. It doesn’t happen often. That’s why this piece matters.
It was an honour to create this look on Jazz, a Ambassador, whose story reflects so many of ours, balancing career, family and culture, while carving out time for herself.
With South Asian Heritage Month just around the corner, it feels even more meaningful to spotlight a beauty narrative that rarely gets the space it deserves. My work has always been about celebrating and showcasing South Asian beauty; whether that’s through editorial, events or collaborations that make people feel seen.
Some of the hero products I use and mention in this feature are recommend for melanin-rich skin tones and common concerns like dark circles, pigmentation, and ashy tones.

Still feeling so inspired after a truly special day with at the Awards. As a mother of teenagers, it was incredibly moving to be in a space where so many young people were being recognised for their outstanding contributions to their communities, a beautiful reflection of the values the King’s Trust stands for: resilience, creativity, compassion & purpose.
It was a joy to be part of the L’Oréal Glam Suite experience (yes, I did my own makeup 💄) & I am always proud to work with a brand that continues to champion inclusivity & diversity through meaningful actions. As the founder of I have seen how L’Oréal is constantly listening, evolving, & opening doors, creating space where beauty truly includes everyone.
The ceremony was full of powerful moments; from the GM of L’Oréal presenting the Rising Star Award alongside to Joanna Lumley closing the evening with a message from His Majesty the King. presented the Volunteer of the Year Award, someone I love watching on TV, especially alongside SABC Advocate
hosted the awards brilliantly, bringing their signature humour & heart, & Amal Clooney took to the stage to present an award, a real highlight. I was seated just nine rows behind Amal & George Clooney. I even had the honour of meeting the newly knighted Sir Gareth Southgate, another true legend whose leadership & humility speak volumes.
Walking the red carpet, surrounded by such energy & excellence, reminded me this is our time. And just because the beauty industry has often overlooked women once we hit a certain chapter, doesn’t mean we’re stepping off the stage. Quite the opposite.
It’s easy to feel uncertain about the future, but being in that room reminded me just how many exceptional young people are shaping tomorrow for the better. I left feeling hopeful for my own teens and for their generation.
Thank you L’Oréal for always making room for women like me 🙏
