30 years behind the chair and I spent the last 9 months back in education.
Not because I had to. Because I wanted to be better at the one thing I have always loved most.
Blonding. I have wanted to be a hairdresser and I have wanted to make people feel the best version of themselves since I was 5 years old. It has never been a job. But I reached a point where I knew the industry had moved on and some of what clients were still being offered the brassy results, the broken hair, the colour that looked great on day one and terrible by week three was outdated. And I was not willing to keep doing things the old way just because it was easier. So I went and learned properly. New techniques. Better approaches to scalp bleaching and lived-in colour. Ways to get the result you actually came in for without wrecking your hair in the process.
