🌺 Hawaiian Summer Party 🌺

What a wonderful day we’ve had making special memories together. With a delicious hog roast, fantastic entertainment from Elvis, and so many smiling faces, our Hawaiian Summer Party was most definitely one to remember! 🌴🍹🦩

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful staff for all their hard work and our residents’ families and friends for joining us! 💗

Today our residents enjoyed a wonderful arts and crafts session with the lovely Jane, creating beautiful memory boxes to fill with their treasured keepsakes 💗 It was such a lovely morning, full of smiles as always!! 🎨💜

What better way to enjoy a 32 degree day than with refreshing mocktails in the lounge! ☀️🍹

Residents enjoyed ice lolly’s, tasty snacks, and a lovely afternoon full of smiles, laughter, and good company!!🧡💛

We had a very special visitor this morning 🐾

Our team member Darren kindly brought his dog Noodle in for us to see! Who we very quickly renamed Lady Noodelle 👑

Residents loved spending time with her, giving lots of fuss and enjoying the visit. She definitely brought plenty of smiles to everyone’s day 💛

We’ve spent some time in the garden enjoying the weather with plenty of laughs, and of course some lovely tea and cakes!

🌸 Happy Easter to everyone from The Chestnuts 🌸

We’ve had a lovely full day! Starting with Pastor Femi’s church service, followed by our raffle draw and a delicious roast lamb lunch!

The day was filled with Easter treats and to top it off, our residents had a fantastic time at Shen’s Sherry & Dance afternoon filled with music, laughter and a couple of cheeky drinks!🥂

Everyone at The Chestnuts would like to say a huge thank you to Carol Walker, whose wonderful idea it was to raise funds for a new garden feature, and for donating four beautiful hampers.

We’re also very grateful to everyone who bought raffle tickets and supported us in raising an amazing £132.00!!
