The difference you get with a private nail tech 🩷💅🏼✨

No where near where I want to be all i see is gorgeous salons, nail set ups but me beginning again! I am greatful for where I am and being able to do gorgeous nails for beautiful girls 🩷🥹💅🏼✨

Ever wondered why your nail tech tells you to not touch your nails before they’re finished?
It’s not because we’re being precious... it’s because we’re trying to minimise unnecessary contact with uncured gel!
Even after your nails have been cured in the lamp, there’s a very thin sticky surface layer called the inhibition layer - this forms because oxygen in the air interfered with the curing of the very outer surface
That layer helps the next coat of gel bond properly, but until it’s removed, I don’t want it transferring onto your skin
That’s why you might notice me gently repositioning your hand, reminding you to not touch your nails or cleaning them before finishing with cuticle oil wipe away
It’s one of these tiny details most clients never think about - but it’s an important part of professional application!
