What a difference a year makes… and what a journey this has been 😅✨
One year ago tomorrow, my client came back after trying a local salon (no shade — but her scalp bleach definitely did not get the memo). Her hair was stressed, fragile, and very upset with all of us.
Fast-forward 12 months of treatments, trims, patience, and plenty of laughs… and LOOK at her now! Healthy, strong, shiny, and living her best hair life again.
We love a good comeback story — especially when the hair decides to forgive us 🤍💁‍♀️✨

I messed up… let me explain.

This is my daughter, Olivia. I spent weeks consulting with her about colour — pictures, conversations, planning every detail of the tone and highlight placement. And when it came to colour, I nailed it!

But here’s where I slipped up: because she’s my daughter, I got complacent. I didn’t do a full consultation before starting her cut — asking her likes, dislikes, or what problems she wanted solved.

We went for a butterfly cut, shorter than before. Everything was looking amazing… until Olivia asked me how she could get more volume in her fine hair. That’s when I realised her cowlick would make a big difference depending on how she parted it.

The problem? I’d designed both the cut and the highlights around a middle part. So I had to backtrack, re-cut, and hope the foil placement still worked. Thankfully, it all came together beautifully in the end — colour, cut, and confidence all aligned.

✨ Lesson learnt: never skip the consultation. Not even with family. Every service, every time.

She remembered who she was …. And went BLONDE 🤍 ☀️

Colour change today, the assignment Teddy Bear Bronde — warm, soft, and effortlessly blended. And I remembered pictures!!!!

This will be one of my students who are at the end of their qualification. They have been assessed by me and I have signed them off on all their assessments. They have an individual examiner coming in to do their final exam called an EPA.
You would need to fit the criteria not wanting to go very dark to very light. Have mid length hair and it should curl easily. If your interested pm me ☺️ they are great girls who are doing fantastic. They just need this to finish their qualification

2022 hair salon of the year business award 🤍🤍🤍

So so grateful to be receiving this award. I feel like my business is flying and it is all thanks to my customers past and present as well as people that follow, like, save & comment on my posts.

Every one of you have given me the confidence to take myself further and push myself to continuously improve my skills & knowledge.

Some of my customers I have been doing their hair for over 15 years. And you have taught me a lot!

This industry is like no other, hairdressers are not only your stylist but we are your friends, we are artists, we are advisors, and therapists.

People can walk into our space feeling low or upset and walk out feeling like a new person. I’ve seen the impact from a hairdresser, not just from myself but from other stylists I personally know.

I’ve experienced every emotion from my customers. I’ve heard everything from their birth stories, moving house, divorce, or the loss of a loved one. I’ve listened to those who are suffering with anxiety and I’ve even cried with them at times. I’ve heard it all.

My aim is to help customers with their hair and health concerns from dandruff, hair loss for reasons such as covid, brittle hair and much much more! And I like to think I’ve already delivered but will of course continue to do so.

This lady has level 2 black hair, and she wanted a pastel pink ready for next weekend to dress up as Frenchie from grease lightning. It’s a process!!!! But the results are worth it.
