So today finally arrived. Our last trading day as Effects Hair Studio. I just wanted to say a big big thank you to everybody that sent well wishes, gave gifts and cards. A very big thank you to my family for decorating the salon this morning for my arrival and to my amazing staff, including Lynn and Hazel for my flowers and gifts . I wish Natalie Helena and Beckah all the very best in their new ventures and I will miss working with each of them. A sad day with the end of an era after many many years of hairdressing at the salon. I look forward to seeing many of you soon in my new position of mobile hairdresser. Love to all and thank you 🥰😍💗

I would like to wish this stunner Beckah all the very best for the future and thank her for her time working with me, as its her last day in the salon today. Its been an absolute pleasure to work with her, from her first day and training her through her apprenticeship to her becoming the amazing hairdresser she is today ❤

It is with an extremely sad heart that I am writing this message.
Effects Hair Studio will be closing for good on Saturday 23rd October.
The landlords have decided to sell the property, meaning I will have to close the salon.
After starting the business 24 years ago and weathering the last 18 months and surviving it, I never thought this would happen.
But never fear, Helena, Natalie and myself will all be going freelance FROM THE 23RD OCTOBER-- UNTILL THEN WE WILL ALL STILL BE IN THE SALON--. Meaning any bookings from 23rd October onwards you will be contacted and put in touch with the relevant stylist.
Beckah has decided to take some time away from hairdressing until next year. Any future appointments with her I will be in touch about.
I will be taking the week from the 23rd -30th October to clear the salon so again any appointments booked for that week with me I will be In touch about.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting me over the last 24 years and especially through the last 18 months. And of course Helena, Natalie and Beckah for all your hard work to.
It's the end of an era but hopefully the start of something new for us all.
