Chemical exfoliants can be a game-changer! But AHAs & BHAs - what are they I hear you ask?

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs): Such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, and mandelic acid are common AHAs that help to exfoliate the skin surface, improve texture, and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs): Like salicylic acid is the most common BHA, which is particularly effective at penetrating pores and unclogging them, making it a great choice for acne-prone skin.

Sugar scrubs might feel good, but chemical exfoliants can work wonders!

Try looking for products with Glycolic acid, lactic acid, and mandelic acid (AHAs) as they help to exfoliate the skin surface, improve texture, and reduce hyperpigmentation whereas if you suffer from acne try a product with Salicylic acid (which is the most common BHA) as that is particularly effective at penetrating pores and unclogging them 🙌
