Community is the heart of Sãn & so today,
we took some time out to volunteer at the annual Senior citizens Festive lunch & we were just blown away by what has been happening here for the past 12 years.
It is run by community partnership involving the Community Wellbeing team at West Oxfordshire District Council, the Oasis Family Church, Gazing at Jesus, local councillors and community leaders. Plus volunteers from the Witney shed . I can’t believe how well it is organised , put together & the generosity of everyone involved .
We had a lovely afternoon & even had some left over trifle! Thankyou for letting us join you for the afternoon!

Tomorrow marks 1 whole year since we opened the doors at Sãn studio. 〰️Looking back we have grown from 1 person working within Sãn, to 7 incredible ladies 〰️We opened our doors to host education to local hairdressers & built a community feel 〰️ We have customers from 0-105 years old and i realise now , we still are really just at the beginning. Over the past year , I have been the full time hairdresser, the cleaner, the PR, marketing, social media manager, admin, stock taker , you name it it’s been my job! And i have to honestly & openly say, that i haven’t always got it right . Severe imposter syndrome setting in each week means I question every single hair cut , colour, & welcome i give to someone walking into the salon & it’s heavier than ever now it’s my own.All whilst trying to remain present at home, be a good mum, wife , friend & family member . What a whirlwind!I’m trying so hard to get it right . And thats all i ever ask of my boys is to try & all i can expect of myself . Thankyou for all of your incredible support to my friends , family , new found friends & clients & a special nod to my clients that have flown my flag since the day i met them. We are on a journey together & i promise to learn & get better every day . Big Soppy Sãn Love x x

Hair salon owner 'incredibly honoured' after award nomination The owner of Sãn Studio in Witney said it "means the world" to have been shortlisted for an award.
On VE day i’d love for you all to hear from my hero Ted, whose stories have captivated me since the first day i opened the salon.
How amazing is our job & how amazing is Ted ?
So proud of the community we have 🥰
We are so important , to be able to listen , to share & be company for 40 minutes is just the best .
