FRANCESCA🌙✨ These photos from last Thursday’s content day with Francesca Porter and Wedding dress studio | Wokingham | Berkshire are my favourites as they showcase this glam so well. For this makeup, I used subtle corrective techniques to enhance Francesca’s features, choosing to accentuate her eyes for this look.

Francesca’s eyes are naturally slightly downturned, so I chose to do a soft brown winged liner and a brown pencil liner in the outer corner of her waterline to lift her eyes and make them pop. A few of my signature individual lashes to complete the look, and her eyes were the centrepiece to this makeup.

EMMA🥂💕 My beautiful bride Emma who got married at Lillibrooke Manor & Barns last month! Emma booked in with me only a few days before her big day, meaning we didn’t have time for a trial. Instead, we chatted on the phone about the vision she had for her bridal makeup, the little details she likes and doesn’t like, and what features she wanted to enhance.

On the day, I took my time to show Emma her makeup throughout the process, giving us the opportunity to make tweaks as we went along. It was also the first time she had ever had her makeup done, so doing this made sure there was no huge shock at the end!

Whilst trials are a non-negotiable for me for bridal makeup, doing Emma’s makeup was a total joy and I am so happy with the finished look we went for. How amazing does she look?!

Summer🩷💐 Yesterday was Summer’s big day and I have been excited for this day since we met at her trial back in July. Summer was an absolute vision and I am so grateful to have brides who put their trust in me to bring their dream bridal makeup to life.

We went a little more glam for the big day, adding some extra lashes, a longer winged liner and some more sparkle to really make Summer’s eyes pop. Paired with a flawless and glowy base, she looked like a Barbie!!

I love my job so much! 🩷

Mother of the Bride🍾 Doing makeup for Mum’s on wedding mornings is always one of my favourite parts. Judith had never had her makeup done before and doesn’t wear a huge amount day to day, so we kept her look light, natural and glowy. We chose to do a good coat of mascara as oppose to any individual lashes to make sure Judith was comfortable and still felt like herself.

There is a piece of advice often discussed by bridal makeup artists that you should do an extra layer of makeup on your wedding day to ensure it is visible in professional photography, but personally, my priority is making sure my clients are confident and still recognise themselves when they look in the mirror!

Charlotte💐✨ Yesterday was Charlotte’s big day at the beautiful Stanlake Park Weddings and how amazing did she look! Charlotte came to me for two makeups before her big day; her trial and an occasion makeup. As she wasn’t used to wearing makeup, this was the perfect way to adjust to having a full face on ahead of the day. It also allowed us to make a few tweaks beforehand, and this was our final look!

I absolutely love this makeup and it suited Charlotte to a T. She was glowing!!
