CHARLOTTE💐👰🏼‍♀️ Yesterday was a day I have been looking forward to for the longest time - Charlotte’s wedding day! I first met Charlotte last July where she booked in for an occasion makeup whilst doubling up the makeup as a “trial before a trial” to meet me and have her makeup done in a relaxed environment before confirming me as her bridal makeup artist.

Only at the end of that booking did I realise Charlotte’s husband to be was the family of my childhood best friend, meaning lots of familiar faces at their big day yesterday!

I have loved getting to know Charlotte and being a part of her celebrations. Her wedding day makeup was by far the best version of this makeup we have done, and the finished vision was absolutely perfect. She was glowing!!

Thank you so much for having me Charlotte, congratulations! 🤍✨

AMELIA💐🌻 Some photos of my beautiful bride Amelia who tied the knot last month at Combe Manor Barns | Berkshire Wedding Venue & Events Space. Amelia’s makeup was everything I loved - glowing skin, a lighter coverage so we could still see her freckles, subtle blush tones and a gorgeous raspberry toned lip.

The finished vision was absolutely perfect and Amelia looked amazing, as you can see!

Thank you so much for having me do your bridal makeup Amelia, congratulations! 🤍

I am so excited to be partnering with Lucy at Studio 41 Bridal for a Sip & See morning on Sunday 9th August. This event is for brides to bring a friend, have a glass of prosecco and a few pastries, whilst browsing Lucy’s beautiful dresses (including her new collection!) and chat all things bridal makeup with me, Imogen. It will be a relaxed, no pressure environment to gather some inspiration and help bring the details of your bridal vision to life.

This is not a usual wedding fair with lots of suppliers, overwhelming conversations and expectations to book. Simply come along and have a chit chat!

Tickets are £5 per person, and any tickets are redeemable against a bridal booking with Lucy or Imogen. Either send myself or Lucy a message here on DM to secure your ticket🎫

We can’t wait to see you there🤍

I’m back! Although I’ve fallen into a bit of a radio silence here on Instagram, life in reality could not have been busier. In the month of June, I glammed 71 faces, from wedding days, to Royal Ascot week, to fully booked prom days. I don’t think I’ve ever had a busier month and I am so grateful to every single client who sat in my makeup chair over the last four weeks.

Something I am really prioritising this year is taking better care of myself during such intense work periods. June is, and will always be, my busiest month for work as prom season and Royal Ascot week come at the same time every year, but in amongst the madness I made a real effort to rest and recharge.

In previous years, I’ve fallen into the very easy trap of saying yes to absolutely everything with a mindset that these months are crucial to my small business. “My job is seasonal and always busiest in the summer.”

In reality, this just leads to me feeling completely burnt out come the end of the season and has actually made me quite ill in the past - late summer last year I had a horrible flu that I couldn’t shift, on and off for six weeks as I just didn’t stop working!

Giving myself these opportunities to chill not only means I feel better, but means I am able to do my job to the best of my ability - because makeup is never just about the finished face. It’s the chit chats, the venting sessions, the catch ups with my regulars, the fun and energy of wedding mornings.

This job is a dream and I am so thankful for this little life I have built🤍

May is always my busiest month for wedding days, and this year was no exception as I was a part of eight big days last month. This time of year is what I prepare myself for every year and I’m reminded how important all of the behind the scenes work is during my quieter seasons to make sure I am at my best for my brides.

Since finishing my busiest run of weddings yet, I have received some of the kindest reviews and messages, and I just had to share a few! Words like these mean everything to me and reinforce this job being an absolute dream.

I am so grateful to each and every bride who chooses me to be a part of such an important moment. Makeup is so much more than just how you look, it sets the tone for your wedding day and helps you walk down the aisle with confidence. It will never stop feeling surreal that I call this my job.

Thank you, thank you! 🤍

IZZY🍾🌹 My beautiful bride Izzy who got married two weekends ago at Stanlake Park! Izzy was the most gorgeous bride and I absolutely loved being a part of her big day. From the second I met her at her trial, I knew her big day would be so much fun!

Her whole look was just stunning, with a light and natural makeup, an effortless half up half down and the most incredible flowers. And the dress?! Doesn’t this look just scream Vineyard Wedding?

Thank you so much to Izzy for trusting me with such an important part of her day. Congratulations! 🤍

GLOWY GLAM✨🍋 This afternoon, I was going back through my camera roll and found these gorgeous portraits of Courtney from a lovely content day at the end of last year alongside and . This makeup is my professional style to a T - glowing skin, harmonious colour tones and effortless enhancements to allow my clients natural beauty to shine.

These photos prove that even light makeup can still make a big impact. Your makeup should pair beautifully with your hair and outfit, not compete or clash with your total look. Here, each elements works in perfect harmony so that, ultimately, it is Courtney’s natural beauty that shines through. 🌞

MOTHER OF BRIDE🌷🌞 The beautiful Sam! Sam’s daughter Livvie tied the knot last month and it was such a lovely morning to be a part of.

For Sam’s mother of the bride makeup, we kept things soft and natural, choosing to keep the focus on the eyes. I used my favourite Charlotte Tilbury sparkle, a n**e eyeliner pencil in the waterline to brighten the eyes and some individual lashes to add a touch of glamour. You’d never even be able to tell they were false lashes😉

Sam looked absolutely gorgeous and it was a pleasure to be a part of such an important day🤍
