Electrolysis on very dense hair generally requires 1–3 days of downtime for redness and swelling to subside, though intense sessions can lead to longer healing times. Frequent, shorter sessions (e.g., 30–60 mins) are often preferred to manage pain and minimize skin trauma compared to long, intense sessions

⚡️Healing & Downtime: Redness, swelling, and small scabs are common, especially with thick, stubborn, or deep-rooted hair. The skin usually needs 24–48 hours to heal, but it may take longer if the skin is sensitive or treated aggressively
⚡️Session Management: For very dense areas (like beard/chin), weekly or bi-weekly sessions are common at the start to achieve “full clearance”
⚡️Pain Levels: Dense hair often means more pain. Some users recommend scheduling shorter, more frequent appointments to manage pain
⚡️Long-Term Strategy: It is a slow process, with full treatment often taking 1–3 years for very thick areas

🍃Redness and Swelling: Temporary, lasting from a few hours up to 36 hours.
🍃Small Scabs/Crusting: Occurs as the skin heals, especially if hair follicles were distorted.

🍃The treatment area may appear darker after your session. Any scabs or crusting which forms may take anywhere from 10-30 days to drop off. If the treatment area is below the neck, this can take up to 6 weeks. Total skin healing (fading of residual redness) may take up to 3 months
