In this case, the client had severely damaged nails:
– longitudinal ridges
– splitting
– deformed nail plate

❗️ The cause?
Constant pressure on the lunula (nail matrix) due to a nervous habit.

👉 What happens in this situation?
The nail matrix – where the nail is formed – becomes damaged.
As a result, the nail grows uneven, weak, and deformed.

💡 Solution:
A protective gel overlay was applied, which:
✔️ prevented further pressure
✔️ allowed the matrix to recover
✔️ created the right conditions for healthy nail growth

✨ Result – healthy, beautiful nails grew back.
