Your safety and the well-being of our talented team mean everything to us. To keep everyone protected, happy, and glowing, we have a few absolute must-dos when it comes to booking your color transformations. 🎨✨
👇 Here is the lowdown on how to get your dream hair booked:
The Golden Rule: Consult + Skin Test + Deposit = Your Booked Slot! 🗓️
We literally cannot reserve a slot without a deposit, and we can’t take a deposit without a valid skin test on file. It’s a strict legal and insurance requirement, so thank you for working with us on this!
✨ The Skin Test Rules
• New to color or switching up your shade? You’ll need a fresh skin test.
• Been a minute? If it’s been 6 months or more since your last full application of your current shade, the system requires a new test.
• Timing is everything: Skin tests are quick and easy! Just pop into the salon at least 48 hours (an absolute minimum of 2 days) before your desired appointment slot. No need to book—just walk in!
• Salons aren’t interchangeable: We can't accept skin tests from other salons, and ours won't count elsewhere. Every salon uses different product ranges and has different insurance rules.
🔞 Age & ID Checks
• We do not apply hair color to anyone under the age of 16.
• If you are lucky enough to look under 21, please make sure to bring a photo ID with you when you pop in for your skin test.
📞 Why We Don't Give Quotes Over the Phone
Every head of hair is a unique canvas! Your hair history, texture, thickness, length, and starting point are completely personal to you. Because of this, we only give accurate pricing during an in-person consultation.

We know planning ahead can sometimes feel like a chore, but skin tests avoid serious allergic reactions, and that is way more important than a quick errand! Getting frustrated or aggressive with our front-of-house team won't change these legal rules. All professional salons stick to these guidelines because we care about you.
