Here are my favourite ones for this month! I am more of powder highlighter girl and like to slightly wet my brush if I want more of an intense wet, glass like look to the skin.

The first one is the Bar of Gold highlighter palette which is an absolute staple! It has 3 shades of a pale gold, rose gold and a deeper gold to cater for every skin tone and is very finely milled which gives a real luxuriously highlighted look to the skin ✨

The second is the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in 'Gilded Honey' which gives such an gorgeous shine to the skin in a pale but rich gold shade! ✨ I prefer using this as a final layer of highlighter to complete a blinding but sophisticated highlighted look and this shade is amazing for most skin tones!

Last but not least is my reloaded highlighter in 'Time to Shine'
This highlighter is a beautiful rusty bronzy gold with a lighter gold swirling through which is stunning and for £4 is an absolute giveaway! It is the perfect shade as a highlighter for dark skin tones and works amazingly as a blusher and eyeshadow for all skin tones 😍

Whilst we're at home and social distancing, it is the perfect time for self care which is so important. It's easy to get consumed with every single article out there and all of the awful things that are unfortunately happening. Whilst it's important to keep yourself informed, it's also important to be kind to yourself and giving a part of the day for self care ❤️ I encourage you to put a limit on how much time you spend reading and watching the news and have a good balance and feed yourself with positive things also. Read a book, write down each day what you are grateful for, read the articles of the people who have survived the virus, video call friends and family, watch a feel good film, have a nice bath with candles and relaxing music or a podcast, do a face mask, workout and of course stay at home. I'm not in any way trying to trivialise what is going on as this is affecting all, but I just want you to give a little time to yourself which is good for the mind.
