This result was achieved with
**1ml jaw filler (0.5ml each side)** and **1ml chin filler** to enhance structure and define the lower face.

She also had 1 session of fat dissolving under the chin to help contour the area and create a more defined profile.

**Positive Aspiration – Why It Matters**

Today was a powerful reminder of why safety checks are so important when performing dermal filler treatments.

During a jawline filler procedure, I carried out my usual **aspiration check before injecting**. When I pulled back on the syringe, it **filled with blood**, indicating that the needle had entered a blood vessel. Because I aspirated first, I was able to **stop immediately and avoid injecting filler into the vessel**.

This is exactly why aspiration and proper technique matter. Vascular complications from filler are rare, but they can be serious if filler is accidentally injected into a blood vessel. Taking those extra seconds to check can make all the difference in protecting your client.

Safety will always come before speed or convenience.
Always assess. Always aspirate. Always prioritise your client.

Forehead wrinkles are caused by action of the frontalis muscles on the forehead. When we raise our eyebrows the muscle contracts.
When the frontalis muscles are raised this pulls the skin of the forehead up which then causes wrinkles and lines

Dissolving liquid which is injected into the fat tissues beneath the skin and eventually it flushes out via the lymphatic system.
Aftercare - Bruising around the treated area is normal and once this has settled the skin can begin to feel loose and ‘jelly’ like, but this will tighten over time. A healthy diet and drinking 2-3litres of water a day throughout the course of treatment will help the healing and results
