Officially 25 years ago today I opened my very first group 😍
Wow where has that time gone!! 🤔

I'm just as passionate about what i do, now as when I first started not only about the effectiveness of slimming worlds food optimising plan but of the power of our community based groups in enabling members to make changes to sometimes lifelong habits and behaviours, to give you support in understanding yourself and adopting a mindset that will not only enable members to lose weight but to maintain that target and be healthier for life too 😍........

What a weekend a huge shout out to everyone who took part in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life events at the weekend especially my 3 lovely members who took part and all the members from across worcester & malvern slimming world (and some from further afield too 🥰

Keep an eye out later for the total raised ..... im so proud to be a part of a company that sponsors fabulous events like this to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.... that touches everyone's lives. ♥️
But I also love how our groups are a community and come together outside of our groups to support each other in so many things (keep an eye out for other things we done lately) 🥰

Muddy run was Muddy despite the dry spell, and so much fun as always ♥️

It’s St Peter's Parish Festival today at Power Park and Sam & Lee are here spreading the Slimming World word about groups in the local area.

Its nearly time.... 1 week today myself and all the consultants from Worcester & Malvern Slimming World will be at my venue St Peter's Baptist Church, Worcester collecting donations for our clothes throw appeal 🥰

Each bag of clothes donated is worth approximately £35 for Cancer Research UK 😍

If you’ve got unwanted items please bring them along to us next Sunday we'll be in the car park with our gazebo 10am till 12 noon ..... help us raise money for this wonderful charity that is close to so many people's hearts 💕

Slimming World St.Peters Worcester with SAM

Lee’s Slimming World - Worcester

This pasta dish is easy-peasy to make and full of fresh flavours ☀️. It’s perfect for those nights when you just want to be out enjoying the sun – and tastes just as good the next day 😉.

Here’s what you need to do to make this Swip-free dish:

1️⃣ Over a medium heat, fry two thinly sliced leeks, 150g sliced shallots and two sliced garlic cloves until soft.
2️⃣ Grate in the zest of one unwaxed lemon, before adding in 150g frozen peas. At this stage you can add in any other veggies you fancy!
3️⃣ Once everything is soft, pop it in a blender with some mint and a little fresh pasta water and blitz it through.
4️⃣ Stir the pasta sauce through some cooked pasta, before serving with a Healthy Extra portion of grated cheese.
5️⃣ Enjoy!
