What makes this achievement even more special is the respect, friendship and sportsmanship shown by everyone involved. Today wasn’t just about celebrating one team over another; it was about celebrating two fantastic groups of girls who have pushed each other all season long, raising standards and creating memories that will last forever.

Seeing players applauding one another, sharing successes, celebrating achievements together and genuinely being happy for each other is what grassroots football is all about. ❤️

Behind every player is a proud parent, a dedicated coach, supportive families and volunteers who have all played their part in helping these girls achieve something special.

To finish first and second in the league and both move up together is a remarkable achievement for football in our town.
