One of my favourite treatments to perform.

The under-eye area is one of the most delicate parts of the face, which is why tear trough filler should never be rushed.

This result wasn't about adding volume. It was about restoring support where it had been lost, softening the shadows and helping my client look brighter and more rested.

The key isn't simply the filler.
It's choosing the right patient, the right product and placing it at the correct depth. That's what creates natural, long-lasting results while minimising the risk of complications.

Beautiful results should never look obvious.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is overfilling the tear trough area.

The goal should never be to completely fill every hollow.

Even the highest-quality hyaluronic acid filler attracts water after treatment, which means the result will naturally soften and settle over the following days.

That's why I usually correct around 70% of the tear trough rather than aiming for 100%. This approach helps achieve a refreshed, well-rested appearance while reducing the risk of the area looking overfilled or unnatural.

In most cases, I use a 22G cannula, allowing me to treat the area through just one small entry point on each side. This technique minimises trauma to the delicate tissue and helps reduce the risk of bruising.

The treatment itself usually takes around 10 minutes, and I always recommend applying a numbing cream beforehand to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Most importantly, not everyone is suitable for tear trough filler. A detailed consultation always comes first, and if I don't believe this is the right treatment for you, I'll tell you honestly.

For me, natural results will always be more important than using more product.
