Bar Staff – Ad Hoc & Part-Time Opportunities
Location: The Refreshment Rooms/ The Hare Upstairs

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable bar staff to join our team on an ad hoc and part-time basis. This role would suit someone with bar experience who enjoys working in a busy, friendly environment and can step in to support the team when needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Serving drinks and delivering excellent customer service
• Supporting the running of shifts and assisting the team
• Maintaining a clean, organised bar area
• Helping create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for customers
• Assisting with opening or closing duties when required

Requirements
• Previous bar experience is essential
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible and proactive
• Comfortable working in a busy bar environment

Desirable (but not essential)
• Barista experience
• Retail experience
• Experience contributing to social media for a venue

Supervisor / Manager (Depending on Experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Supervisor / Manager to join our team. This role will suit someone with strong bar experience who is confident leading a team and helping run day to day operations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervising staff and supporting the running of shifts

Delivering excellent customer service

Assisting with stock control and bar operations

Opening and closing the venue when required

Supporting the team to maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere

Requirements
Previous bar experience is essential

Previous supervisory experience required

Ability to lead a team and work independently

Strong customer service skills

Reliable, organised and proactive

Desirable (but not essential)
Experience managing or contributing to social media for a venue

Barista experience

Retail experience

After nearly 16 incredible years in High Salvington, Tandy has decided to hang up her scissors and retire from hairdressing & barbering 😔. She’s been an integral part of the community, creating countless smiles, hairstyles, and memories. We can’t thank her enough for her dedication and the love she’s brought to her work.

Tandy will continue to work through January on the following days:

🔹 Tuesdays: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
🔹 Wednesdays: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
🔹 Thursdays: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Tandy's last working day will be Wednesday, 29th January.

As Tandy prepares for this new chapter, we’re looking for a talented hairdresser or barber to join us by renting a chair. If you or someone you know is looking for a welcoming space to build or expand their business with us, we’d love to hear from you!
