He is back next week…!! 😊

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind words and continued support for Stephen and the shh team. The level of unwavering support and understanding means the World to us and has enabled us to continue with the salon during these difficult times.

Stephen has undergone the fitting of a pacemaker defibrillator, is on a new drug regimen and is feeling much better. On Tuesday 1st April he is returning to the salon, with a reduced working pattern, and will start transitioning his clients back over after that.

Lindsay and Niki have been invaluable at the salon for the past 8 months and we thank them for stepping in and supporting us during this time. Scarlet has returned, joining us for 2 days a week to help take some of the pressure from Stepen.

We look forward to seeing you all in 2025, which will hopefully be a more positive year for Stephen and the whole team at shh…

We welcome Emma to the salon this week who has joined the shh team as a full time senior stylist... with 18 years hairdressing experience and a fun outlook on life we are sure she will be a great asset to the team.... welcome Emma... 😁

As you may have heard Stephen is having to take some time away from the salon to deal with some health challenges. It is very strange for him to slow down having worked full time for the past 40 years, running his own salon for the last 37 of those. We are lucky to have a fantastic loyal staff, with Sandra taking the helm, they are taking over the day to day running of the salon until he returns. Two friends who have previously worked with Stephen are coming in to help, Niki Britton and Lindsay Wallace and are available at select times. We have also have a new senior stylist joining the team, Emma Jayne Parker, who until recently worked at Jagged Edge, Emma starts with us on the 6th August.

If you have an appointment booked with Stephen soon, the Reception team will be in contact with you to discuss the options.

We thank you for all your kind messages, cards and understanding during this challenging time.

After 10 years we finally have the full range of Philip Kingsley Products back in the salon.

Stephen and Sandra are ecstatic and looking forward to again supplying these excellent products to all our clients.

For the first time in 38 years, after we close the doors tonight, we are having an extended break and not opening the salon again until the New Year!

We have today opened the on-line booking section of our website, you can find a link to this on our website. Unfortunately as Stephen is so busy you will not be able to book an appointment on-line with him. You will of course be able to call the salon and speak to the reception team as usual.

Please note we have reverted back to our normal opening hours and the salon is not open on Sunday & Monday.
