UNDERSTANDING BALAYAGE
I believe balayage is now used as a term by clients who are wanting the look that is achieved and associated with freehand painting, that soft root blend that grows out seamlessly. However, technically the majority of my clients who ask for balayage, get foils and that is because theyāre starting point and desired result donāt align with what would be achieved if I were to use traditional balayage techniques on them. Getting the result youāre after is far more important to me than sticking to how a service āshouldā be carried out š
