The Cutting Shed

Today marks the end of an era. Saying goodbye to my first business as I know it. I’m incredibly proud of what I have built and achieved. A business doing what I love, a business that kept a roof over mine and babies heads during the toughest of years, a business that came back stronger after Covid a time when many others didn’t, that made me smile every single day and introduced me to the most amazing clients and friends. 25/26 has bought a lot of changes. A new job, home and now this next chapter.

I feel extremely lucky to carry on doing what I do in any capacity and the fact everyone is supporting me so strongly! I am thankful to have found the beautiful salon SO Studio Hair beauty clinic training where I will be working from on a Monday and Wednesday evening plus all day on a Friday. It is such a stunning space and all my clients have been made to feel so welcome.

However I have adulted enough this past 3 months to cover the rest of the year so if you need me for the rest of the day I’ll be crying happy/sad tears in the sunshine ☀️

2025 was a year of lots of exciting changes. I was extremely lucky to start a job as a Hair and Beauty Learning Mentor in a very special collage. Which has been the best thing I could of done, I get to work as part of a team again with the best people you could ever imagine, aswell as incredible students ❤️

I have finally sold my flat 🥳🥳 with the end of December bringing keys to our new home 🏠

And now 2026 brings some changes to my hair world. I will share some more info as the week goes on but want to break it down so it’s not too much all at once!

Today I’m starting with a new business number. As I have to structure my days a little more, this will help me to not get overwhelmed and work through enquires in a more streamlined way. So please bear with me while I navigate this first change 💙

My social media has slipped away these last few months. I could make a ton of excuses about being busy and life getting in the way but I need to get back to it and prioritise!

This is just a quick message to everyone regarding the covid requirements.

Face masks are mandatory once again unfortunately. I am sticking to no overlaps in appointments (unless in a family bubble) however this does mean Christmas appointments are very limited so please confirm as soon as possible. The heating is on and but please feel free to bring a blanket or extra layer as it is definitely more then nippy outside now ☃️ I still won't be offering refreshments or magazines so please bare this in mind if you are coming for a longer service. Stay safe 🤍
