“She examines your face shape, eye shape/size/distance between, lid space, brow shape, and natural lash line to determine the best custom design for YOU.

She uses crazy math 200+ times per client to choose the right diameter, length, dimension for every single one of your natural lashes to not cause damage.

She uses very sharp and pointy tweezers very close to your eye and manages to not poke your eye out when you twitch in your sleep.

Her hands cramp, her arms get stiff, and her back always hurts. At the end of the day she feels like a T-Rex with tiny arms and hands because of the position she’s in for hours on end 🦖

She pays well over a thousand dollars a year on dozens of pairs of tweezers. They need replacing often to keep her efficient and consistent and they aren’t cheep!

She spends $75-100 a month on less than a ounce of lash adhesive because it’s a quality professional product she trust and believes in.

She delicately grooms and removes grown out extensions so they don’t cause damage to your natural lash. Banana peeling or squeezing the extension away from your natural lash is the most terrifying thing a lash artist does. The fear and anxiety of tugging too hard on your natural lash causes us to glisten (sweat beautifully).

She singles out one natural lash and delicately and perfectly glues the perfect extension or fan to it without touching the skin, but keeping it half of a millimeter away...75-100 times per eye...per client.

She works against the clock sometimes because you honestly need more than what qualifies as a fill, but it’s Friday and Girl’s Night Out means your lashes need to be perfection...so does the babe after you and it’s not fair to push her appointment late, so she lashes at the speed of lightening without compromising quality or integrity.

She strategically places more volume in one spot to even you out due to uneven shed patterns.

She spends hours moving her arms and bending her neck into awkward positions to ensure perfection.

She listens to you snore and is extra gentle to not wake you up until she’s done.

She copies an image from the Instagram that’s really a strip lash or photoshopped to give you the look you want.

She spends an hour plus with you every other week. She’s invested in your life story.

She silently prays over you during your appointment while you snooze.

She’s one of the first to know you’re pregnant!

She cry’s with you through hard times.

She thinks about you long after your appointment because she cares

She works when she’s sick because there is no calling off when you work with personal appointments.

She misses her kids field trip to be there for her clients.

She makes extremely close connections with her clients and spends all of her social energy on them.

She doesn’t get “vacation days” because people need her in order to feel beautiful and she loves it.

also hasn’t eaten lunch the past three days because she’s had no time between clients.

She spends hours researching new techniques and the latest products to ensure she’s giving you the very best.

Her life revolves around lashes and running her business.

She hates having to charge you for you canceling your appointment late, but she can’t afford not to.

She walks a fine line between staying professional and becoming your best friend.

But I must remind you, she’s just a lash artist. She just does lashes. “

If you've ever had your brows tinted and waxed, then you'll have an idea of how the process works. The first step for henna brows is all about cleansing and removing any oils from the skin. This is to ensure that your skin is super clean and ready for the henna.

After your eyebrows are clean, they are then measured and shaped which also allows you to have some input before the process goes ahead. The next step is crucial and can make or break your eyebrow shape. A white pencil outlines your eyebrows that acts as a barrier and is what gives you the sharp, defined lines of your new eyebrow shape.

After the brows are mapped, it's time for the henna! This part of the process is delicate and very carefully applied. The henna has to be pushed onto the skin to ensure it sits in between the hairs to give you that fuller effect. Once it is evenly applied and super sharp, its left to dry, then the process is repeated a few more times. The layer is left a little longer then is wiped away and your eyebrows are then waxed and tweezed to complete a high definition effect.
