Firstly a huge thank you to all our existing and new clients we made at Luxe since we opened, as a lot of you know since day 1 the issues we have experienced within the salon and unfortunately a landlady who would not help with any of the major problems we have experienced, we have had no hot water due to a broken boiler which she refused to fix so I had to myself pay for a new system to be put in so we could have hot water, we have the wrong fire alarm system and was told a few months ago we can not use hairspray, acrylic, nail polish remover, spray tans 🤔 in a property which was rented for a salon as it sets the alarms off and I was constantly sent invoices to pay or I could pay for a new fire system , our latest issue which we have had problems with since day one was drainage which completely give up and the salon would flood daily and would need bucketing out 8/10 times a day once we run water which again the landlady refused to fix, after a lot of contemplating, tears, stress and upset I give the lease back with immediate effect. As the expense which I have spent already on a building which isn’t mine which is the whole point of a rented property and as well as still having to rent on a building which isn’t fit for purpose enough was enough, it saddens me so much as the love and effort me and my family put into decorating to open our busy little salon that someone can get away with not following there part of a contract to help rectify all these major issues we experienced, we are currently in the process of signing for a new salon and all appointments are still booked in please message me for any information if I haven’t contacted you regarding your booking.. so hopefully it won’t be long and we will all be back under one roof with our in salon hairdresser... A big thank you for all your love and support during this time while we transition to our new salon Lucy xx
