⚡️As we come to the end of mens mental health month, I feel its important to reflect on the implications of injury on our mental health.

🚺🧍‍♂️Not only as a man but any person who is injured may have some impact on their mental well-being.

Injuries can make us feel vulnerable as we go about our daily life unable to move as well or without pain, they can make us worry potentially about work and financial costs of life.

🤔Sometimes we may feel like our injuries just simply won't get better and will have a huge implication on participation of sports or hobbies that we truly enjoy.

Injury can bring many emotional worries so don't go at it alone!

This is a brilliant, simple exercise that will allow you to stress the shoulder in all planes of motion and train the nervous system to adopt a pattern where by all the muscles of the arm and shoulder will work together as a TEAM so that the stress doesn't fall mostly onto one muscle group i.e. the rotator cuff.

✅️KEY POINTS

1)⚡️ Make sure to not just push through the heel of your hand and instead put the weight through the mid/forehand this way the flexors and extensors if the wrist will be enganged

2) ⚡️ Similarly to the previous point, soften the elbows to make sure the biceps and triceps can get involved and Co-contract to share the workload!
