A very personal one to share today, but still hair related.

I had this sent to me this morning by my dad, and it really made me quite emotional.

That tiny little blonde figure in the back was me doing my grandads hair, and I must have been no older than 2.

My first ever client was my grandad, it was obvious even then that I was going to end up being a hairdresser. I remember he let me cut his hair when I was about 8 with real kitchen scissors and we giggled about him being at the salon (actually sat in the kitchen with tea towels as a gown).

As hard as it is to face that you’re gone, I’m so lucky to have such special memories which shaped me into the person I am today 🤍✨👴🏼
