To all my amazing clients, thank you so much for the last 9 years of custom, the friendships we built, all the up’s and downs we’ve shared and for always being so lovely. Thank you for the messages, cards, gifts and visits. I’m Truly blown away.

Well I no longer need to be as polite as I have been all these years, but I have to say it.
This is my last week at the salon. I’ve had many amazing clients come in to say goodbye and many turn up and for these I am so thankful you’ll never know.
But.
Today I’ve had 2 not bother to turn up without even a call to let me know. That’s just a sh*tty thing to do when there were many clients wanting to book in on them times.

Important update.

It is with sadness that it is time to say goodbye.
Many of you know about my home life, and now it has come that I have to focus my time there. So from Saturday the 12th I will no longer be at hair and beauty connection while giving up hair entirely.
All appointments up to the 12th will still be going ahead, but unfortunately any made for after that date will be cancelled.

I would like to thank all the wonderful clients I’ve had over the past 9 years, thank you all for supporting me, for sharing good and bad times, and for feeling more of a friend than anything else.

I’m back!
It’s great to be back, healthy and seeing everyone again. X

Bad news all,my results came back positive.
I believe the Welsh regulations require me to test again on day 6 and 7, and should both show negative I can leave isolation, but please be prepared that I may not be able to return to work until the 11th of January should they not show negative results.

To all my amazing clients, I have tried to get in touch with as many of you as possible but apologies if I missed you, I have done 2 lateral flow tests today with one negative and one positive so will be getting a pcr to be safe. I have contacted todays clients who I can too. Due to this I won’t be risking anyones health and will be off until I receive a negative test result. Stay safe x

Full head tape in extensions. Absolutely beautiful way to add length, thickness, both or just to add some colour without commitment.
Tape extensions are one of the most gentle extension methods available if not the most gentle.
This client has custom coloured hair at 18” long. X

Some of these are just funny, but some are really scary. Especially the ones with dangerous reactions.
I don’t expect everyone to come to me for a colour, many of you like to do it at home.
But please, please, please ALWAYS follow the instructions about a skin test even if it means waiting another day.
It could save your life!

No chemical straightening, just framesi smoothing!
Chemical straightening is permanent and grows with a natural root which hasn’t been treated meaning constant upkeep. Smoothing lasts 3-4 months and slowly fades from the hair like a semi permanent colour.
Suitable for all hair types, many clients can get away with just blast drying for the first few months without using irons, on a very tight natural curl like this client hair will still need blowdrying with a brush and an optional straightening with irons to get a super sleek look.
Both blowdry only and after straighteners are shown below on natural Afro hair that has a mixture of curly types from 3c to 4c curl. If you know a 4c curl you’ll understand how amazing this smoothing treatment is to allow such a straight blowdry without irons. X
