One half of Tailormade Escapes and someone whose passion for travel has always gone far beyond simply going on holiday.

Rich absolutely loves exploring the world - discovering incredible destinations, beautiful hotels and new experiences, whether that’s travelling by land or setting sail to somewhere completely new.

He’s happiest when there’s another destination to discover, another ship to explore or another hotel to add to the ever-growing list of places he thinks our clients would love.

And that passion is a huge part of Tailormade Escapes.

The last couple of days have certainly been busy ones behind the scenes!

With the UK air traffic control disruption affecting flights, we’ve been keeping a very close eye on our clients’ journeys - sending updates, helping those delayed, rearranging plans and working with our suppliers when things haven’t quite gone as expected.

It’s moments like these when having a travel agent in your corner really matters.

Last night we were invited by Beachcomber Tours to a very special private event at Sexy Fish in Manchester, celebrating 25 years of Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius.
And yes, it was an incredible evening - but for us, the most valuable part was the people in the room.

We had the opportunity to spend time with Stephan, who manages Dinarobin and Paradis, two of Beachcomber’s flagship 5-star resorts on the spectacular Le Morne peninsula.

We talked Mauritius, the resorts, what makes each of them different and, most importantly, the kind of clients each is really right for.
Because when you ask us to recommend a hotel, we don't want to simply tell you what we've read online.
