It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amy Parkinson have asked us to announce her passing and Funeral arrangements.

A devoted Mother to Kim and Kevin, and loving Nan to Katie, Nathan, Rebecca, Jessica and Robyn.

Amy will be very sadly missed by all her loving family & friends.

A Funeral Service is to be held at Greenacres Memorial Park on Tuesday 16th September 2025 at 10am.

I have had some amazingly talented stylists & gorgeous humans working with me at Lakeside Hair Lounge over the past decade (did I mention it’s a decade?!😂). I am proud of them all for continuing their successes, for sharing their talents and I am grateful that they chose Lakeside Hair Lounge in their life/career path. 🫶🏼

Also, one thank you that has to be exceptional from the rest… my Mum. Our fairy godmother, our backbone & simply the most incredible human on the planet. Thank you, in every way, forevermore🩷

It has been a turbulent ten years in business but I am incredibly fortunate to have found such loyal, beautiful people that I am lucky to share my chair with. My clients. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. ❤️

I started this business not knowing if I’d be good enough or if anyone would think to choose me as their stylist. I still have those moments now. But I thank everyone, past & present clients for choosing me. You have all helped to build me & my business to what we are today 🥹
