Let's clear something up.
Cysteamine isn't just for Korean lifts. That's not fact, that's marketing.
Cysteamine breaks the bonds in the hair the same as TGA does, just in a more gentle way.
Same job, gentler process. That's it. That's the whole "secret."
I've been quiet on here for a couple of weeks, and honestly, this is a big part of why. The amount of misinformation floating around lash lift education right now is unreal.
Artists are being told they need one specific technique, ten different products and a very particular process, or they're "doing it wrong."
It's not true.
And it's costing artists money and confidence for no good reason.
You don't need to buy into every trend or every "must have" product to get incredible results. You need to actually understand your ingredients.
What they do. How they work. Why you're using them.
Once you know that, you stop needing permission from the internet to trust your own skills.
That's what I teach. Not gimmicks, not fear, not "buy this or you'll fail."
Just the actual facts, so you can make your own decisions with confidence.
Know your ingredients. Know your technique. Ignore the noise. ππΌ

I didn't grow my lash lift business because I got better at lash lifts...
I grew it because I got better at marketing them.
(Although trust me... getting really good at lash lifts definitely helped.)
Most lash artists think the answer is another course.
Another product.
Another shield.
Another technique.
And don't get me wrong... becoming exceptional at what you do matters.
My confidence comes from knowing there's hardly a pair of lashes I'd feel nervous lifting.
But that wasn't the thing that transformed my business.
The biggest shift happened when I realised something...
β¨ Clients don't book because you know the difference between TGA and cysteamine.
β¨ They don't book because you use a particular shield.
β¨ They don't book because you posted another before & after.
They book because you know how to communicate the value of what you do.
When I was growing my client base,Β Istopped marketing to other lash artists.....and started marketing to my actual clients...
everything changed.
This is exactly what I'd do again if I had to build my lash lift business from scratch.
Save it for later, because I promise you'll want to come back to it. π
I was asked to put the Stacey Lash Lash Lifting System to the test and share my honest feedback... and here's what I thought π
The glue balm was brilliant. It held the lashes securely throughout the treatment, and I didn't need to reapply it between Steps 1 and 2. π
This Korean-made hybrid system combines cysteamine and ETA, so it's a great option if you're looking for something a little stronger than a pure cysteamine system, while still being gentler than a traditional TGA formulation.
I really enjoyed working with the products, and the lift results were beautiful. π
If you're thinking of trying a hybrid system, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a look.

A lash artist showed me her Instagram last week.
Genuinely beautiful work. Technically brilliant. But her diary had gaps and she couldn't work out why.
I could see it straight away.
She wasn't doing anything wrong exactly. She just wasn't doing it for the right audience.
And the ambassador code in her bio....I know it feels like a nice extra perk. But to a potential client it sends a very specific message, and it's not the one you want.
Swipe through and ask yourself honestly, is your Instagram built for other lash artists or for the clients you actually want to attract?
If you want help fixing any of this, Comment LIFTLAB below and I'll send you the details π

Something I have been building for months is finally live. π
For the lash lift artists who are brilliant at the treatment but feel like the business side is harder than it should be.
For the ones who are undercharging and know it, but don't know how to change it.
For the ones posting on Instagram and getting likes but not bookings.
For the ones starting every month wondering where the next clients are coming from.
I've built something specifically for you, and the early bird offer is only available until this Friday 3rd July.
If you want to be first in line, the link is in my bio π
The thing I do instead of offering a discount if my diary goes a bit quiet...
I used to think the answer was running a special offer. Looking back, all it really did was reduce the price for people who probably would have booked anyway.
Now, I do something completely different.
I look back through my last 20 clients and send a personal message to anyone I haven't seen for a while.
Not a bulk message. Not a copy-and-paste sales pitch.
Just something simple like...
"Hi Sarah, I was just thinking about you and realised it's been a while since your last lash lift. Hope you're doing well! If you've been meaning to book back in, I've got a couple of spaces this week if you'd like one."
That's it.
No discount. No pressure. Just a genuine message.
It's amazing how many people have simply been meaning to book and just haven't got round to it.
It fills my diary far more often than discounts ever did, and it costs nothing except 20 minutes of your time.
Next time you've got a few gaps, give it a try.
Then come back and tell me how many replies you got.

One of the biggest mindset shifts I see with lash artists is this...
If a client doesn't come back, the first thing they question is their lash lift.
But most of the time, that isn't what needs fixing.
Rebooking starts long before your client walks out the door.
It's built into the conversations you have, the expectations you set, and the little moments that make someone want to come back without even thinking about it.
It's something we spend a lot of time on inside The Lift Lab because these small changes have such a big impact on your diary.
If rebooking clients is something you're struggling with, let me know. π«ΆπΌπ
