With little to update in regards to our shop being sorted any time soon.

We never imagined we’d have to write a post like this.

As many of you now know, Man About Town has been hit with yet another leak from the business above, While we’re doing everything we can to recover, the immediate loss of income and ongoing bills simply don’t stop.

Over the past few days, so many customers have asked how they can help. We never wanted to ask for financial support, but after being encouraged by so many of you, we’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe.

We’ve set this up to help with immediate cash flow and replacing essential items so we can get back on our feet as quickly as possible. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a genuine difference. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this post would mean the world to us.

To everyone who has already offered kind words, practical help and support – thank you. It has reminded us just how incredible our community is, and we’re determined to come back stronger.

The Christmas appeal is THIS Sunday 10-4 at the shop, and our fold up tables have been leant out and never returned.

We have MOUNTAINS of toys to get out to those whom need them, does anyone have a table or two they would kindly drop to us we can use for the day?

It’s been a busy one ✂️🖤

Sammo was recently invited to represent the Lions Barber Collective at Oracle Red Bull Racing HQ in Milton Keynes. While there, he and the LBC team delivered a mental health talk to Red Bull staff, sharing the mission behind the Collective — using the vehicle a haircut to open up real conversations around positive mental health, and raising vital awareness for su***de prevention.

Sammo also had the privilege of cutting hair for members of the Red Bull Motorsport Team 🚀✂️

As if that wasn’t enough, the team were then filmed by a German news crew, who travelled over after hearing about the amazing work the LBC are doing and wanted to share it with their region. Truly an honour.

We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in a much bigger movement — and grateful to all of you who support us every day. 💙
