I’m going to be taking a little break from posting for a while.

Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately trying to navigate nursery, a newborn, life as a mum of two, chicken pox and sickness all at once! 😂🥴 So I’m giving myself permission to take a step back from social media and concentrate on my little family for a while. 🤍

The Beauty Patch definitely isn’t going anywhere though! 🩷

I’ll still be working away behind the scenes and continuing my training, so that by the end of my maternity leave I can come back with even more treatments to offer you all. ✨

And when I’m back posting, keep your eyes peeled for new treatment deals, model calls and lots more from The Beauty Patch! 👀🩷

I’ll also still be here to answer any questions or enquiries, so please don’t hesitate to message me. 💌

💅🏼 TPO BAN — WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOUR NAILS? 🤍

You may have seen lots of information about the TPO ban recently, so I wanted to explain what it actually means for my clients here in the UK.

There’s no need to panic or cancel your nail appointments! ✨ I’ll be gradually moving over to TPO-free products as my existing stock runs out, while continuing to follow the current UK regulations.

I’ll always keep you updated with any changes and make sure your treatments are carried out with care. 🤍

✨ What happens after your lash lift? ✨

Ever wondered why your lashes don’t stay exactly the same forever? 👀🤍

Your lashes naturally grow and shed, meaning over the weeks your lift will gradually grow out as new, untreated lashes come through. Most lash lifts last around 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle.

🌸 A little introduction for all my new followers… 🌸

Hi, I’m Michaela, the face behind The Beauty Patch! 🩷⚓️

If you’re new around here, I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and shared a little bit about why I started The Beauty Patch.

Starting The Beauty Patch has been a huge career change for me. Before this, my career was in powered access operations management, so stepping into the beauty industry has been a completely different world! 😅

But after becoming a mum, I knew I still wanted something that was mine. I wanted to have a career, something to be passionate about and proud of, while also being there for my family. 🤍

And that’s really where The Beauty Patch came from.

My dream has always been to build a little business that works around my family, rather than my family having to fit around my career.

With a husband whose career is in the military, our two little ones and, of course, our dog who also seems to think he runs the household 😂🐶, life can be a little unpredictable!

So having something that gives me the flexibility to be a mum, support my husband and still have something professionally fulfilling is incredibly important to me. 🩷

I want The Beauty Patch to be more than just somewhere you come for a treatment. I want it to feel like a little escape — somewhere you can come as you are, have a chat, switch off for a while, maybe have a cuppa ☕️ and leave feeling that little bit more confident. 🌸

✨ And my hopes for The Beauty Patch?

I want to keep learning, keep growing my skills, add new treatments and eventually create a little beauty space that feels completely The Beauty Patch — warm, welcoming, relaxed and somewhere you genuinely look forward to visiting.

I’d love to build a little community of lovely clients who trust me with their treatments, keep coming back and feel completely comfortable in my space. 🥰

I’m still learning, still growing and definitely still figuring things out along the way, but I’m so excited to see where this little dream takes me.

Because for me, this isn’t just about starting a beauty business.

It’s about proving to myself that I can be a mum AND have a career. 🤍

I can build something of my own while still being present for the people who matter most.

And hopefully, one day, I’ll be able to look back and think… I really did build that. 🥹🩷

A little life update 🤍

A little personal update from The Beauty Patch… ✨

Our beautiful second son has arrived at 37+1! 💙👶🏼

After a busy few weeks, I’m so pleased to finally be able to share that baby boy is here safe and well, and we are enjoying some precious family time together.

Thank you so much to all my lovely clients, both existing and new, for your patience, understanding and kind messages over the last few weeks. It really has meant so much. 🤍

I’ll keep you all updated regarding my return to The Beauty Patch and availability as soon as I’m ready.

For now, I’m going to enjoy some newborn cuddles! 🥰

🩷 MODEL CALL UPDATE 🩷

A little update for everyone who was interested in my upcoming model call…

Baby number 2 has decided they might like to make an early appearance! 👶🏼🥹 So, for now, the model call will have to wait until I know what’s happening and when I’ll be back home.

I’m currently in hospital being monitored, so I’ll keep all of my lovely clients and potential models updated as soon as I know more. 🤍

✨ But don’t worry — the model call isn’t cancelled! ✨

Once I’m back and having my Keep In Touch days, I’ll still be looking for models for classic, hybrid and Russian lashes so I can continue practising, perfecting my skills and building on everything I’ve learned. 🩷

If you were interested in being a model, please keep an eye on the page as I’ll post the new dates once I know when I’ll be able to return.

I’m looking for a few lovely ladies to help me build my lash portfolio at The Beauty Patch! 🩷

I’m currently looking for models for:
🤍 Classic lashes
🤍 Hybrid lashes
🤍 Russian lashes

There will be a small fee to cover products used, but this is a great opportunity to get your lashes done while helping me build my skills and portfolio. 🥰

📸 Please note: Models must be happy to consent to photos and videos being taken during/after the treatment for use across my social media.

🧪 A patch test is required 24–48 hours before your appointment and must be completed before treatment can go ahead.

August is already filling up, and I just wanted to let you all know that availability is now very limited. 🌸

As many of you know, I’ll be starting my maternity leave from 31st August as we get ready to welcome our newest little addition. 🍼💕

If you’ve been thinking about booking a lash lift & tint, gel polish or waxing appointment, now is the perfect time to get in touch to avoid missing out.

✨ Some evening and weekend appointments are still available, but once they’re gone, they’re gone!
