Holiday mode is nearly over…

I’ve had the loveliest time away, switched off a little, enjoyed the sunshine and reminded myself that rest really is productive too.

But I’m also genuinely looking forward to getting back into clinic.

I’m back on Thursday to a full day of lovely clients, skin plans, treatments and probably far too much talking about collagen.

There’s something really nice about coming back refreshed and excited to get stuck in again.

So for now, I’m enjoying the last little bit of holiday calm before normal life resumes.

See you on Thursday.

Holiday glow… or holiday sweat? 😅 I think it’s a bit of both!

Yes, I’m a little shiny… but underneath it all, my skin genuinely feels healthy. And that’s the difference.

For me, great skin isn’t about filters or heavy makeup. It’s about looking after it every single day.

That means:
☀️ Wearing SPF
💧 Keeping hydrated
🧬 Supporting my skin with collagen
✨ Investing in treatments that stimulate my skin to do what it naturally should

People often ask why I keep talking about collagen.

Simple… because after seeing the science, using it myself and watching my clients’ results, it’s become something I genuinely believe in. It’s now as much a part of my routine as cleansing my skin and applying SPF.

You won’t find me chasing perfection, just healthy, resilient skin that still looks like me.

Can I ask you something… what’s the one thing you never skip in your skincare routine, even on holiday?

People often think my job is all about treatments. It isn’t. Yes, I love helping skin become healthier, stronger and more radiant. But what I really love is seeing the change in how someone feels. Sometimes that comes from microneedling. Sometimes it’s a skin booster. Sometimes it’s simply giving someone permission to stop chasing perfection and start looking after the skin they have. My goal has never been to make people look different. It’s to help them look in the mirror and think…“That’s me.”

Why I DON’T recommend last-minute microneedling before a holiday.

Microneedling is fantastic… but not the week before you fly ✈️

I might be on holiday…

…but being a skin practitioner never really switches off.

I notice everyone’s skin!

Who’s wearing SPF.
Who’s hiding under a hat.
Who’s looking like they’ve spent a little too long in the sun.
Who’s in the shade (that will be me 🤣)

I’m exactly the same on holiday as I am at home.

✔ SPF every morning.

✔ Reapplying every couple of hours.

✔ Hat on or in the shade

✔ Sunglasses.

✔ Plenty of water.

People often think good skin comes from expensive treatments.

Treatments definitely help.

But it’s the little things you do consistently that make the biggest difference.

Now… time to go and top up my SPF again!

Planning a holiday? Here’s what I’d do if you were sat in my clinic…

I get asked all the time,

“What’s the best treatment before I go away?”

The answer depends on how long you’ve got.

If you’re leaving in a few days, I’d keep things gentle.

If you’ve got a few weeks, we have so many more options.

Some of my favourite pre-holiday treatments are:

✨ Dermaplaning for smooth, glowing skin.

✨ Carboxy Therapy to boost hydration and radiance.

✨ Skin Boosters for healthy, dewy skin.

✨ Microneedling… but only if we’ve got enough healing time before you fly.

✨ Chemical peels… again, timing is everything.

One thing I never recommend is squeezing treatments in at the very last minute.

The best skin always comes from planning, not panicking.

Save this post for your next holiday… your skin will thank you.

A little clinic update…

Next week is my last week in clinic before I head off for some time away, so I’ll be squeezing as many lovely clients in as I can.

I’ll be working Monday right through to Saturday, so I’ve added a few extra clinic days. I only have a couple of appointments left, so if you’ve been thinking about treating yourself before the holidays or giving your skin a little summer boost, now’s the time to get booked in.

And… a little sneak peek of something exciting!

From August, I’ll be introducing a brand new service all about blemish removal.

I’m keeping the details under wraps for now, but I will be looking for a few models while I complete my training.

So if you’ve got a skin tag, cherry angioma, milia or another blemish that’s been bothering you, keep an eye on my page over the next few weeks.

I’ll share more when I’m back!

Not all chemical peels are the same… and that’s exactly how it should be.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Which chemical peel do I need?”

The answer is always… it depends.

Your skin is unique, so the treatment should be too.

I offer two medical-grade peels, and although they both improve your skin, they do it in different ways.

✨ 40% Mandelic Peel

This is my gentle peel. It’s perfect if your skin is looking a little dull, tired or uneven and just needs a refresh.

It helps to:
• Brighten your complexion
• Smooth skin texture
• Improve mild pigmentation
• Reduce congestion and breakouts
• Give your skin a healthy glow

One of the reasons I love it so much is that it can also be used before treatments such as microneedling or skin boosters. By gently exfoliating the surface, it creates the perfect canvas, allowing your skin to get the very best from the treatment that follows.

✨ 35% TCA Peel

This is a more advanced peel for skin that needs deeper rejuvenation.

It’s ideal if you’re concerned about:
• More noticeable pigmentation
• Sun damage
• Fine lines
• Loss of firmness
• Overall skin ageing

It works deeper within the skin, encouraging it to repair and regenerate, so the improvements continue over the weeks that follow.

Think of it like this…

✨ The Mandelic Peel refreshes your skin and gets it treatment ready.

✨ The TCA Peel resets your skin and encourages deeper renewal.

Neither treatment is better than the other.

They simply have different jobs to do.

That’s why I don’t believe in offering the same treatment to everyone. I believe in choosing the treatment that makes the most sense for your skin, your concerns and the results you’re hoping to achieve.

Because healthy, glowing skin doesn’t come from following trends.

It comes from following the right plan.

If you’ve been wondering whether a chemical peel could be right for you, send me a message. I’d be happy to help you decide which approach is best for your skin.

Healthy skin isn’t about chasing perfection.

It’s about understanding your skin, supporting it properly and having a plan that works for you.
