Today we sadly said goodbye to David Thompson who worked for us for 48 years. We will miss David dearly & have very fond memories of him & shared many good times & laughs.
He will be fondly remembered by many of our customers for his great sense of humour & his chat & obviously a great haircut!
David passed away on 30th December 2025 aged 81 years.
Our thoughts are with Ann, David’s wife & his cherished family.
Rest in Peace ❤️

Massive congratulations to Caroline & Paul on completing their runs. Caroline completed 10 miles with a PB 🤩 & Paul the Marathon in 3 hrs 49 mins, pretty impressive for an old boy! Might be some sore leg’s tomorrow!

Parking charges have increased on East Parade car park. The increase is significant, £3 if you pay cash & considerably more if you pay on the app.
You have 1 hours FREE parking directly outside the shop & plenty of FREE parking on the nearby side streets within a few minutes walk.
We are addressing the car park issue with our local MP & council & will keep you updated.
