I wanted to keep everyone in the loop of what has been going on recently in the nail industry. It has come to my attention that The Gel Bottle have updated the formula of their BIAB products. The new formula has removed TPO and HEMA from the product. Whilst this can be a positive change for some and may lower the risk of allergies, it can also affect performance, especially retention.

As a therapist that has worked with this brand for a few years now. This is extremely disheartening, particularly as there was no communication about these changes.

These changes will not affect everyone, and many clients still have great retention. I am using this as a positive turning point for my business. I am currently trialling new products and brands that I will decide which I will fully transition over to. Please note this will be a gradual process, I have such a large range of the Gel Bottle products.

This has not been an easy decision, but it’s the right one for myself, my business and my clients.
