APPRENTICE WANTED!! Please share 💇🏽💇🏼‍♀️

Here at Ocean we are looking for an apprentice wanting to start at hairdressing college in September. There is also an opportunity for you to work Saturdays between now and September and during the school holidays to gain some experience in the salon before starting college.

Apprentice job roles:
•Shampooing clients
•Answering the phone & taking bookings
•Offering clients refreshments
•Maintaining the salon including cleaning
•Washing & drying towels
•Helping/ passing to stylists
•Engaging in conversation with customers
•Be able to find models to complete assessments

We are looking for a school leaver who is a bubbly, motivated individual that shows initiative and has a passion for hairdressing.

Apprentice will attend York college 1 day a week for level 2 qualification training and have training sessions in the salon. The course usually runs for 2 years and we expect all assessments to be completed within this time. Potential opportunity to advance onto level 3 qualification and a permanent job offer for the right candidate.
