We got back from the loveliest sunny week at 3am this morning.☀️It was pouring it down so that was a shock but there’s a breeze for my washing this morning 😂

spending the morning tackling the aftermath and this afternoon getting dotty ready for going back to school and me back to work .

I will sit with my diary tonight and reply to all messages then 😙😙

Back at hospital Today& xray, still broken but healing well so have some new fancy footwear! It’s all very clever!

This is my new clip clops for the next 4 weeks as well as the boot when I need it , physio in the next month, once I’ve started that I will be able to drive and wait for it EXERCISE again yayyyyyyy hallelujah 🙌 not doing my walks/runs is killing me I mean prob still won’t be able to run but give me the walks!!!!!! 🤣🥲

Last time I will say it as I know I say it all the time but honestly thank you to everyone for been so understanding & patient over the last few months .
I know it’s been an absolute diary nightmare with changing, cancelling appointments & diary mis haps 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I’ve finished work until the 9th September, celebrating Dans birthday tomorrow well Rugby on the tele and an Asda Chinese fakeaway but hey 😂

I’m away Sunday for a week , really hope to switch off, reset, recharge , be present & spend quality time with my girls, nephew & sister in law and finally get to enjoy some sunshine as I’ve seen about 60minutes this year! 🤦‍♀️
hopefully sweat this cold away& properly rest the leg so I can get back to my walks ASAP 🫶🫶🫶

I will have my diary with me and I will sit towards the back end of the week & respond to messages before I come back ✨

This year has not gone to plan at all, it’s fair to say it has been one thing after the other since the 1st January,.
Iwould by lying if I said I haven’t struggled because over recent weeks I really have but September is a new month and I’m manifesting good things 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you every client , you probably don’t realise it but you do support, encourage and motivate me and there’s been days I’ve really needed that😘😘😘Work is always my constant and pulls me through 🥰🥰

Auntie Joan is into her 4th week in hospital so let’s extra 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏good thoughts for her whilst I’m Away , I’ve been able to see her today now this colds shifting and tidied her hair up and gave her a big tight hug 🤗 I’m worried sick been away whilst she’s in hospital 😑

Lastly CHRISTMAS 🎄 🎄🎄🎄sorry but once it’s in Home Bargains that’s my cue!!!!

I’m finishing Friday 18th December , thats 16 weeks away so anyone not booked in feel free to work back from your preferred Christmas dates and get booked in the appointments you would like.

I’ve opened up an extra night that week as my late night is already full so if you are an evening client please get booked in as once they are gone there gone 😘😘😘

Let’s hope this holiday goes to plan as a holiday should 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏as my summer was practically cancelled and our holidays haven’t gone to plan or been smooth sailing 😂🤦‍♀️

This weeks remaining clients ‼️

I’ve been fighting a lovely summer throat/ cold since Sunday, it’s fully flourished on me yesterday/today obviously as I go away Sunday 😂😂classic Sarah!

I’m still working but I appreciate I have some vulnerable clients so just making you aware in case you would prefer not to attend this weeks appointments.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to re arrange any appointments until 8/10th September onwards

Both girls have been at me for months and months to have there hairs done but I’m a bit strict with hair 😂😂

I finally gave in as as they have both got older there blonde has become warmer and warmer so they both wanted it cooling down a little and some dimension adding.
They showed me a picture obviously it was AI but we’ve nailed it !

A combo of balayage and reverse balayage on there virgin hair and we’ve toned down the natural warmth and added dimension but protecting there natural hair and roots keeping this mega low maintenance and natural looking as I’m not doing this every 6 weeks 😂

Happy girls! Good practice for me getting back to been on my feet but been my girls i could stop and start and have breaks 😂😂😂 pics in artificial light really don’t do them justice!

Perfect low maintenance style for young adults 😍

Unfortunately Auntie Joan is in hospital again and has been the last two weeks so it’s all a bit full on still with hospitals and ailments on top of everything else 🙏

Early start this morning for the one legged hairdresser 💙

Wedding guest hair 💙

We had to keep it simple so I could stand on one leg and kneel my other leg on a chair 🤦‍♀️😂
but we got there with a bit of hopping and hobbling about!

I’ve done a few days since last Saturday slowly building up how many clients I’ve done. Only nails until today .
I’m back at the hospital this morning for another xray so will make plans for next week later today and message anyone affected 💙💙

I’m trying to do what I can and as much as I can but yesterday I did struggle by the end of the day I fell asleep for two hours 🤦‍♀️😂who even am I 😂

Not the new pair of shoes I should have been wearing today 🤦‍♀️

I Should have been strutting about at a wedding today in some pretty gold strappy numbers but this will have to do instead rested on the sofa 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣

I’ve been back at the hospital today, had another xray and been fitted this sexy number perfect for summer hey lined with a bloody woolly sock crikey the perimenopause temperature and flushes are rising 🤣

So my ankle is broken but the break is stable so 🙏hopefully no surgery!
I will have another xray next week to make sure after a week in the boot it remains stable and starting to repair and the no surgery needed still stands 🙏

So for work I just have to take it day by day, week by week at the moment … it’s going to be a good 6 weeks of boot and just taking one day at a time.
The doctor wants me to use the boot to slowly apply weight with crutches but not to be stood or walking and applying my full body weight.
So no driving, gym or walking for me for a while 🤦‍♀️

So I will look at my diary for next week and make a plan……

I am thinking I will be ok for most treatments next week hopefully other than feet and hair unfortunately as everything else I can sit. So I’m so sorry to anyone whom I am going to have to cancel for now, I really am 😢😢

I just need to have a go at manoeuvring myself around the salon and practising if I can work safely and comfortably to finish treatments and I will have to rethink the long days as I’m not going to be able to be back to back and long days , I will need gaps inbetween clients to rest my leg and manage the pain ☹️

So all good , far worse things going on in the world 😙

I will sit with my diary over the few days and make some sort of plan for next week and message all clients individually 😘😘

The only thing is I don’t know what day my xray is yet, the receptionist had gone home by the time I came out so I will be sent a letter but I’m going to ring the hospital tomorrow to try sort it over the phone and then I’m good to go to arrange my diary for work 😘😘😘
