Let’s talk Grey ➡️

Not all Greys are the same or even throughout the hair. You can be more “salt” than “pepper” and vice versa sometimes we can’t add a lowlight because the grey or white hairs are so resistant it will not pe*****te or hold on in there.

I used a highlift on the mids and ends to eliminate previous colour and warmth on this Client and think it worked really well to blend in the natural regrowth which we are now going to work with going forward.
Maintenance appointments will hopefully now only include a toner and clarifying/cleanse shampoo if needed.

Home maintenance shampoo and conditioner, for example are essential in this case to keep the hair bright and colourless.

How wild is the hormone regrowth here! It was on both sides where new hair has come through auburn coming in strong! I’ve seen hormone banding before but never patches of new colour. As beautiful as I thought it was we decided to tone it into our colour and not go full ginge this time.
