There’s not been that much to celebrate, or get excited about just recently, but today marks 15 years since I opened Bonito Hair Design, and I think that’s worth celebrating 😁

Thank you to all my wonderful staff and colleagues who’ve been with me through out this journey, I couldn’t have done it without you 😍😘

But the biggest shout out goes to all of my wonderful, amazing clients(friends) who without, Bonito would not be here at all,

Hi,
As excited as we all are to get going there’s a few things to take into consideration.
Please read all our procedures for reopening, these will also be displayed around the salon and at the entrance.

If you have an on the scalp application colour, I will be in touch with you over the next couple of days to book you in for a skin test, I know some will fine this really frustrating as we only did this in July, but due to COVID and it’s effects, some people can become sensitive to colour, so our insurance requires us to do this.

DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT IF......

You feel unwell 🤒 or are showing ANY signs and symptoms to COVID 19, these include a high temperature, a new persistent cough, or loss of taste/smell.
If you have these symptoms you must reschedule your appointment and follow self isolating measures as directed by the government.

Our waiting area is closed, the salon door will remain locked at all times, please knock on arrival, and if we are ready for you to come in, we will let you in, if the salon is unlocked, this means we are ready for you to attend your appointment,
Our hand sanitizer is situated at the entrance on the right as you walk into the salon , it is a hands free automatic dispenser so no contact is needed, if you prefer to wash your hands we will take you to our hand sanitising station, where you can wash your hands before your service.

All clients will be provided with a disposable gown, and we will use 1 clean towel per client, all our towels will be washed after 1 single use, I won’t be using disposable towels as id like to reduce the amount of waste we will make.

All our staff will be in the correct PPE as per the government guidelines.

No magazines will be provided, please feel free to bring your own.

All stations and equipment will be cleaned and sterilised before and after each appointment, please allow extra time for your appointments.

After today’s government announcement our doors will be closed form Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December 😥

We will be working extra hours next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and will be working as hard as we possibly can to fit as many of our guests in before we close, we will try to prioritise all out guests with an existing appointment in the next week or so,
I appreciate this won’t accommodate all of your appointments, but if we have been unable to fit you in next week then we will prioritise your appointment when we return in December,

We are all gutted to be closing our doors again, but we will be back

Good morning

A message to all our wonderful clients with appointments over the next few weeks, I apologise if you haven’t received a phone call from me regarding the closure of the salon due to covid 19 , I have tried to get in contact with you all, but a lot of contact details are stored safely at the salon so I have limited access to them. If you need to contact me for anything you can call me on the salon phone number, which is diverted to my mobile, so I’m only on the other end of the phone .
I’d like to thank you all again for the overwhelming messages of support, you all mean the world to me I look forward to seeing you all very soon and having a good catch up when this is all over ,

As of today we at have made the joint decision to close until further notice,

I am truly heart broken, but it’s the right decision to make, We feel for the safety of our team our family’s and you our clients it’s the right thing to do

In my 14 years of owning Bonito Hair Iv never felt so scared of loosing what I love so much, but I’ll do my very best to come back stronger then ever.
Over the years I haven’t just gained clients Iv gained friends, and the support Iv been given over the last few weeks I am truly grateful for,

WE ARE STILL OPEN

The Government has announced tonight that Hair and Beauty salons are NOT included in the social distancing closures!

We WILL remain OPEN and continue taking appointments
We will continue to follow our strict government health guidelines to keep you all safe, please remember, if you feel unwell, please do not come into the salon, or if you have an appointment we will happily reschedule it for another time

We value your continued support throughout this difficult and worrying time and we will be continuing to take appointments until we are told to do so otherwise
