Gee always wears her makeup really effortlessly done, soft wing, fluffy brow and natural skin so you can see the freckles still popping through. You honestly looked absolutely stunning 🤍

How beautiful does Heidi look?

This was the second time Heidi had had her makeup done. We discussed her usual makeup style which like most Mums isn’t much! I touched on all areas of her face starting with gentle strokes of pencil through her brows, soft pinky browns to compliment her gorgeous eye colour, we even put some soft individual lashes on then finished with a serum foundation to even her complexion and a soft pinky lip.

Life recently has been crazy busy!
Work wise and personal, trying to find the work/life balance is hard though right?! Wedding season is well and truly in full swing and I’ve had some amazing brides already so far and so many more are to come. Including one of my best friends weddings in June, which I feel super honoured she asked me to do her makeup 🤍

My 2027 diary is certainly starting to fill up but I do still have plenty of space. Also feeling super thankful for those brides that have booked me so far 😘

A little re introduction of myself to any new followers and old followers that have been with me from the start…

I’m Elizabeth, Lizzie or Liz, I honestly don’t mind any. I’m 31 and I have been self employed for nearly 9 years, which I still can’t believe as it’s gone by so so quick!

As much as I love doing makeup, getting dressed up and having a wine with the girls I’m also quite the opposite in my free time. I’m either walking the dogs, playing football, running or at the gym. I grew up on a farm so I was always roped in to help out and getting my hands dirty even if I had just painted my nails 🤣

From the start…. I’ve always been very into makeup from a young age. As my mum always said to me I wish you’d put as much time into your homework as you do doing your makeup 🙈

After school I did two years of beauty at York College and then onto the Yorkshire College of Beauty which I did Media and Special effects makeup.

Being a teenager I did many lessons at the MAC counter and always wished I could be a ‘MAC girl’.. well that did happen. I worked for MAC for 3/4 years which I learnt a huge amount as well as gaining a lot of experience until I decided to go self employed at 22. Which I definitely give thanks to my mum for giving me that little push to do so as I haven’t looked back ♥️

When you start out in the industry you are definitely finding where you want to be whether it’s bridal, media, special effects etc. After touching on it all I knew bridal was the way forward for me💍

I love the whole experience of weddings from trials, travelling to new venues, venues I continually go too, champagne popping, many emotional moments and seeing other special moments after you’ve got married.

I can’t wait thank you all for allowing me to do what I love and I’ll look forward to meeting my future brides 🤍
