π Nobody warns you about this...
You get chickens for the eggs.
Then one gets a name.
Then they ALL get names.
Next thing you know, you're worrying because "Hen"rietta sneezed this morning and you think her feathers may be a little more ruffled than usual.
If you've reached that stage...welcome.
This is the wellness kit I reach for most often to help support a healthy flock naturally... from respiratory health and immune support to bug protection, healthy feathers, reproductive wellness, and even a cleaner coop.
Because somewhere along the way...
They stopped being "the chickens."
And became YOUR chickens. β€οΈ

One of the biggest trends out there is pil of oregano in blackseed oil as the carrier.
Take 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Kills any kind of parasite, yeast, candida etc.
Thoughts on using Doterra oregano oil and making your own capsules?

STOP Washing Your Hair the Boring Way
The doTERRA shower hack to revive your shampoo, fight hair fall, wake up your scalp, and make your hair feel alive again
Friends, real talk.
Some shampoos smell nice.
Some make bubbles.
Some promise miracles.
And some just sit in the shower looking pretty while doing almost nothing.
Thatβs why I started using doTERRA oils with my shampoo.
There are two easy ways to do it:
β€ Quick way: Put shampoo in your palm, add 1β2 drops of oil, and wash.
β€ My favorite way: Choose your oils, add them directly into the shampoo bottle, shake well, and use it like a normal shampoo.
Thatβs what I do. I like having my shampoo ready to go every time I wash my hair.
Hereβs my simple cheat sheet π
Pick your hair goal, then pick your oil
β€ Hair fall support
Rosemary + Cedarwood + Lavender
This is the classic βplease stay attached to my headβ blend. Rosemary is the hero, Cedarwood is the steady friend, and Lavender keeps everything calm and beautiful.
β€ Encourage healthy hair growth
Rosemary + Peppermint
Rosemary is famous for scalp massage and hair growth support. Peppermint brings that cool, tingly wake-up feeling that makes your scalp feel alive.
β€ Fresh scalp / oily roots
Tea Tree + Peppermint
Perfect when your scalp feels heavy, oily, sweaty, or like it has been holding grudges.
β€ Dandruff, flakes, or buildup feeling
Tea Tree + Lavender
Tea Tree helps give that clean scalp feeling, and Lavender makes the whole wash feel softer and calmer.
β€ Dry, dull, sad hair
Lavender + Geranium
Softness. Shine. Feminine spa energy. Your hair basically puts on a little dress and says, βThank you.β
β€ Luxury shower smell
Frankincense + Lavender + Rosemary
This is the βI may be washing my hair at home, but emotionally Iβm in a five-star spaβ blend.
β€ Dry ends
Lavender or Ylang Ylang
Use more on the conditioner side, especially mid-lengths and ends. Your roots do not need to look like they went swimming in olive oil.
My favorite shampoo bottle blends

Little warning from personal experience:
Do not put every oil you own into one shampoo bottle.
How to use it
β€ Add your chosen oils to the shampoo bottle.
β€ Shake very well.
β€ Shake again before each wash.
β€ Massage into the scalp for 60 seconds.
β€ Rinse well.
β€ Use conditioner mostly on the middle and ends of the hair.
Quick test option:
If you are trying a new oil, put shampoo in your palm, add 1 drop, wash once, and see how your scalp feels before adding it to the whole bottle.
Not just oils β doTERRA hair products I love
β€ doTERRA Protecting Shampoo
A beautiful everyday base, already infused with refreshing essential oils.
β€ doTERRA Daily Conditioner
Use mostly on the middle and ends of the hair.
β€ Root to Tip Serum
This is the one I would call the real star. Great for shine, softness, scalp care, and that healthy-hair look.
β€ Fractionated Coconut Oil
Perfect for a pre-wash scalp massage with Rosemary or Lavender.
β€ Leave-In Conditioner
For dry, tangled, βplease behave todayβ hair.
Non-doTERRA hair tips that also help
β€ Massage your scalp before washing.
The cheapest hair tool is your own fingertips.
β€ Use lukewarm water.
Hot water feels amazing, but your hair does not need to be boiled like pasta.
β€ Put conditioner mostly on the ends.
Your scalp already makes oil. Do not give it a second job.
β€ Try a satin or silk pillowcase.
Less friction, less breakage, better morning hair.
β€ Brush gently.
Your hair is not a carpet. Please do not attack it.
Whatβs your biggest hair struggle right now?

Small note: This post is for beauty, personal care, and wellness education. It is not medical advice. If hair fall is sudden, severe, patchy, painful, postpartum-related, medication-related, or worrying, please check with a qualified professional. Essential oils are concentrated; avoid eyes, patch test first, and dilute for sensitive skin, children, or strong oils like Thyme, Oregano, Cinnamon, Clove, and Cassia.

Not all coughs are the same.
Over the years I've found that different essential oils seem to provide different kinds of support depending on what the respiratory system is experiencing.
π§ RESPIRATORY BLEND 1 β WET, MUCUSY & IRRITATED
βοΈ Eucalyptus βοΈ Thyme βοΈ Rosemary βοΈ Tea Tree
Why these oils?
πΏ Eucalyptus is probably the oil most people think of first when it comes to respiratory support. Research has linked its main component, 1,8-cineole, to helping clear airways and support easier breathing.
πΏ Thyme has a long history of traditional use for chesty, productive coughs, and is valued for its purifying properties.
πΏ Rosemary has been studied for its effect on airway surface fluid, making it a great addition when things feel congested.
πΏ Tea Tree rounds out this blend with its purifying, fresh aroma β often used to support the body during respiratory infections.
π RESPIRATORY BLEND 2 β DRY, IRRITATED & NIGHT-TIME
βοΈ Peppermint βοΈ Lavender βοΈ Eucalyptus
Why these oils?
πΏ Peppermint contains menthol, which has been studied for its calming effect on coughs and its ability to ease the sensation of breathlessness β perfect for that dry, irritated feeling.
πΏ Lavender is wonderfully calming and has been studied for its soothing effect on irritated, reactive airways β especially helpful when coughing feels worse at night.
πΏ Eucalyptus again brings its clearing, opening qualities to support comfortable breathing through the night.
β¨ Roller Blend Recipe
Add the oils to a 10 mL roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Blend 1: 4 drops each of Eucalyptus, Thyme, Rosemary and Tea Tree.
Blend 2: 5 drops each of Peppermint, Lavender and Eucalyptus.
Apply to the chest, throat, upper back and bottoms of the feet as desired.
As always, if you don't have every oil, start with what you have. Even one or two of these oils can make a meaningful difference.
β οΈ Always dilute before topical use and patch test first, especially if you have sensitive skin. Peppermint and Eucalyptus should not be used on or near the face of infants and young children.
And if you've got a go-to oil for respiratory support that didn't make this list, I'd love to hear it π

Perfect for:
π Bedtime routines
π Reading before bed
π Evening baths
βοΈ Hotel rooms while traveling
π΄ Helping the whole house exhale
Diffuse it 30 minutes before bedtime and let the cozy vibes begin. β¨
Because rested kids (and parents) are the real summer luxury. π
