The Ego, the beast in man that must be tamed or destroys him. There are some who argue that battle the Ego is a fruitless endeavor, I ask them, would you rather obey the Ego? And the results of every internal battle will eventually manifest itself in the physical sphere. The Nafs as the Ego is called in Islam, includes but is not limited to our desires and an expression of the beast in Man.
The awaking is becoming aware and becoming the observer of not just the actions of others, but observing and understanding your own actions before, when, after you take any action.

What is the awakening? I’ve been asked. There’s no clear answer but let’s try to give you some perspective. It’s when you touch the plant and you can really feel it. It’s when you begin to notice the beautiful birds and wonderful things around you. It’s when every breath is taken with the greatest of satisfaction and gratitude, it’s knowing you are a reflection of the whole and must act accordingly

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Be strong

Where are our leaders, sleeping I guess. They should remember that we don’t practice a monarchy in Ghana here. Perhaps the pendulum is swinging again
